Question:
I have Reese trailer hitch for a Ford Taurus 1995 SW that I never installed sold car before installing and had a hitch on truck. Will this hitch fit on a 2002 Ford Taurus SW? Thanks

Hi Edward,
Without a part number I wouldn't be able to verify, as there aren't Reese trailer hitches (or haven't been for many years), but there is one made by the same company, the Draw-Tite 36252, that fits both the 1995 and 2002 Ford Taurus wagon.
If that's not what you have though, you can still get a hitch that fits your 2002 Ford Taurus wagon (as well as the '95), the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12232.

Hi Edward, did you end up finding out if your Reese hitch matched the Draw-Tite or Curt model for your Taurus wagon? Knowing what worked might help others trying to reuse an older hitch on a newer car.
