Hey Seth, thanks for reaching out!
I believe you have the Torflex #11 axles which means you would need the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-724-02 for a 2-7/8" lift.
I recommend checking the tag on your axle to make sure this is accurate. If you find something different please let me know! view full answer...
I sent this to Dexter and this is what they sent back:
I checked the number and it not a good hub number, and wheel tried pulls up 3,500 sprung axle from 2006 that doesn’t use a Nev-R-Lube hub. I would ask for confirmation on the number or some pictures of the product to confirm replacement parts that will work.
If you can get me the info on your hub I can go from there. Look for a number on the outside of the drum. view full answer...
Hey Steven, from what I was able to determine from some research, the 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 27FB does have a #11 Torflex axle on it, so the Dexter # K71-724-02 is the correct lift kit for your trailer. This is a 2-7/8 inch lift kit. Why are you wanting to lift your camper? view full answer...
Hey Dennis! We don't have a database that shows us what axles are on any one trailer so I can't say for sure which kit you need but I can tell you to find out.
The Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle item # K71-707-02 fits a #10 torflex axle but it is for a tandem axle trailer so you won't need that one.
The Torflex Lift Kit - Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift item # K71-707-01 also fits a #10 axle and looking at your trailer's weight this is most likely the one you need. If you measure where the... view full answer...
Brien, it sounds like you did your research so kudos to you, but the awning you're looking at is not going to work with the wind sensor. You'd need to use the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning # LC517517 instead.
You're also going to need the Solera Awning Rail Extrusion # LC715217, some LaSalle Bristol Butyl Tape for XTRM RV roof membranes # 344270341411-1, the Replacement Wiring Harness for Solera 12V and Smart Arm Power RV Awnings # LC280570, and the Wind Sensor Prep Mount for... view full answer...
Bill yes, the Brass Tire Sensors for TST TPMS # TST-507-RV-S2 will work great with your TST TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster # TST-507-RV-4-C.
These sensors were designed specifically to be used with that system as well as the 6 sensor version # TST-507-RV-6-C. view full answer...
I looked up the weights of your 2022 Airstream Basecamp 16X and based on what I found the best weight distribution system and sway control would be the Reese Strait Line part # RP66083 which has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and has the best sway control for preventing sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch hitch ball you'd then want the part # A-90 and you'd be set. view full answer...
I do have a possible solution for you but the most well equipped 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs therefore, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT78MR will not increase your tongue weight capacity. However, most of the time you can use a weight distribution system like the Reese Weight Distribution System w Shank part # RP66540 with the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58305 to increase your tongue... view full answer...
Hello David. I can certainly point you in the right direction. When selecting a lift kit, we need to consider the axle type and the weight capacity of each axle. For example the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-02 that you were looking at will work with #10 Torflex (torsion) axles with 2,300 to 4,000-lb capacities.
I do not have a way to look up the exact axle type or capacity that your trailer is currently equipped with. Please do confirm the weight capacity and axle type. Feel free to post... view full answer...
Hey Phil, yes the Wisight 2.0 part # ASA57YR that you referenced will have noticeably better reception that the previous version that it sounds like you have now. They found a way to lock the connection between the camera and the monitor which allows it to block out interference in a way that it didn't do before. view full answer...
Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out!
I can definitely help you figure out what lift kit you'll need for your 2013 Airstream Sport 16. What Torflex axle do you have? There should be a sticker in the middle of the axle that shows what axle you have - if you can let me know what that is, I can let you know what lift kit you need. view full answer...
Hey Matt, unfortunately it does not look like there are any Timken kits for your 2022 Airstream Basecamp 20X. There are replacement bearings # L68149 and races # L68111 that are sold individually, however.
If there is something else I can do to help, please feel free to let me know! view full answer...
Hello Wallace,
Looks like you got the right one ordered for your 2023 Airstream Basecamp 20, the Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-100 which is commonly for 6K axles, but your 4,300 pound axle has the beefier spindles.
I am sorry for the delay in response, received quite the spike in questions and are getting caught up. If you need a return label please let me know. view full answer...
Hi Joe,
We don't have any 15" x 7" rims with that bolt pattern right now but I know they exist. If you can send me a picture I can try to determine what you have exactly and see if they're something we can add from one of our manufacturers. You could also contact Airstream directly, they should have information on what wheels came with the trailer. Is this for a spare or are you trying to find a replacement? view full answer...
Hello Will, thanks for reaching out. The Voyager WVOS541 is the older first gen camera system so sadly, the # WVOSAPANTEXT Antenna Extension would not be compatible with this. view full answer...
Hey Kevin!
According to my research your 2021 Airstream Globetrotter should have either #10 or #11 Torflex axles from Dexter. You can verify which one you have by checking the sticker in the middle of the axle, then choose which one of the following is the correct kit for you:
- #10 Torflex Axles # K71-707-02
- #11 Torflex Axles # K71-724-02
If you have something else, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to help you look further into this! view full answer...
Hey Mike, yes your best option would be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ90-00-0600 which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs. Ideally your trailer's tongue weight falls as close to the middle of the range of the WD system which this comes very close to that so it would work well. No, sorry we only have the SmartPlug RV Internet Inlet item # SM96MJ which is the same part but with a black surround instead of stainless. It has the exact same connectors and the housing is still marine grade. view full answer...
Hello Doug,
Thank you for the axle tag picture, it is most helpful! And I appreciate your patience while I waited for a response from Dexter.
For the brakes you will want the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 6K # 23-458-459.
For the Nev-R-Lube Drums you want the Trailer Hub & Drum Assembly - 6,000 lbs Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 - Nev-R-Lube # 8-388-80UC3.
