Hi Manny!
We do have a couple options for custom fit roof racks that will fit your 2004 Acura TSX, but Rhino Rack does not have one available, unfortunately. That doesn't mean you are completely out of luck, but you would need to install a Rhino Rack set up a different way. I have the parts needed to do this listed below:
Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Channel Mount - 55" Long - Qty 2 # RTC14
Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - RTC and RT Roof Rack Tracks... view full answer...
I do have an option for you but the Thule OutWay 3-Bike Rack part # TH56BV will not fit your 2014 Acura TSX Sport Wagon. Instead, I recommend the Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack part # Y02638 so long as you do not have the power liftgate. This is actually the only trunk mount 3-bike rack I have found to be a confirmed fit for your vehicle. The HangOut has anti sway cradles to keep your bikes from making contact with the vehicle/each other, adjustable arms to ensure the bikes are carried at a... view full answer...
Hey Steven,
If you're looking for replacement mounting hardware for your TSX's trailer hitch receiver then you can order another using the # RHK page. You'll enter in your trailer hitch's part number into the box and we can send you the fully hardware pack from the manufacturer. We currently have two brands to choose from with slightly differing hardware so you'll want to check if you have a Curt or Draw-Tite trailer hitch.
If you have Curt you can enter either # C11496 or # C11085.... view full answer...
If you look at that answer it mentions how wiring harness # C59496 fits many different vehicles. This makes it a universal type of harness. As such there are no vehicle specific instructions available. What you need to do is look at the linked instructions, and determine which type of wiring system your vehicle has. From what I found your 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon has a 3-wire system, so you will need to follow those instructions contained in the instructions link.
Basically you will... view full answer...
We do have tandem roof rack bike racks, but the HighRoad, # Y02114, will not accommodate the additional wheel base length of a tandem bike.
We have the Thule tandem bike rack, # TH558P, which has a tray that is 75" long and should work with your tandem bike and Thule standard and Yakima crossbars. We have a video review of this bike rack as well. view full answer...
The arms of the Saris Bones Hitch 2 Bike Rack # SA882 fold down to make it a bit easier to store. Looking at your picture it would probably be best to put the rack in the right corner of the garage floor with the shank pointed at the rear of the garage. We don't really have a great way to hang the rack on your wall so it might just be easiest to have it in the corner on the ground leaning on the right wall with the arms folded down. view full answer...
Because of the alternative frame design on the Linus Dutchi you would need to use an adapter bar, # TH982XT, to mount the bike to the Thule Passage bike rack # TH911XT. Another option for the alternative frame is the Hollywood Racks Gordo, # HRG2. It has wider arms so you can place the bike on the rack in different locations on the frame. But, this is only a 2 bike rack.
I have included some instruction links and a video of the adapter bar for you. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11455 is actually the only trailer hitch offered for a 2004 Acura TSX so you don't have much of a choice but it will work just fine to pull a small trailer as it is rated for up to 2,000 lbs. I have attached an install video for you which should help immensely with the installation process.
In order to complete your towing setup you will also need a trailer wiring harness, the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part... view full answer...
The Curt I hitch, part # C11496 would be an excellent choice for your 2009 Acura TSX.
The tow hook would be used to winch the vehicle up onto a flatbed tow truck, but it isn't used as a jacking point according to the owner's manual. The jacking points for your TSX are on the frame rail directly behind the front wheels and right in front of the back wheels. I found this on page 461 of the online copy of the owner's manual in the 'changing a flat tire' section.
Because of this, you wouldn't... view full answer...
Since your tow dolly has taillights on it already you shouldn't need to also have the taillights of the vehicle you are towing activate as well.
You should be good to go for towing your vehicle behind your RV with the tow dolly as long as it's taillights are functioning. view full answer...
The Curt hitch # C11085 is a fit for your 2013 Acura TSX Sportwagon and would be a great option to carry a hitch mounted bike rack. As far as a lock for a bike would go that is going to depend largely on the bike rack you pick. Most racks have specific locks that have to be used with them which sometimes are included but sometimes can be purchased separately.
For example the Hollywood Racks Destination part # HLY94FR comes with a hitch lock but if you wanted to upgrade it to a lock setup... view full answer...
The Curt trailer hitch # C11496 is a fit for the 2011 Acura TSX, TL, and Honda Accord. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to a video showing a typical isntallation of the hitch.
If you are planning on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # 3593. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118420. I have included a link to a video and a link to the instructions for the wiring as well. view full answer...
When we installed Hidden Hitch trailer hitch # 60831 on a 2006 Acura TSX it measured 4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to clear the rear bumper. The Curt adapter # D-192 will not fit because it only fits in 2 inch trailer hitch receiver openings. And the MaxxTow MT70355 will not fit since it was for Class II hitches.
That leaves Brophy adapter # HT5R. It will fit a Class I hitch but the issue with it is that the back of the 2 inch receiver does not come out far enough to clear... view full answer...
There are a few steps to note when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11455, on your 2004 Acura TSX. You will not need to modify the exhaust at all, but you will need to lower the exhaust during installation and remove the exhaust heat shields from both sides. You may also need to drill or file the access holes on the vehicle frame so the carriage bolts will fit.
The carriage bolts will need to be fished through the frame using a fishwire tool. Once you have the hitch installed, you... view full answer...
For your 2014 Acura TSX the best cargo carrier for your needs is the part # 63155 that you referenced as this has the most rise built into the shank (3 inches) of it which will give you the best possible ground clearance.
I attached a review video for this carrier for you to check out as well. view full answer...

We have had other customers with the TSX Sport Wagon use the # C59496 wiring harness and have not had any complaints. This is a hardwire trailer wiring harness that fits a lot of different vehicles. Because of its versatility, I am confident it will work well for you. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this wiring harness for you.
The mechanic may have been referring to pulse width modulation wiring. But, from the research I have done, the Sport Wagon should not... view full answer...
Yes, the Hitch Adapter # HTAD will work with your 2004 Acura TSX that has the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11455 mounted. You are correct that it will reduce your total tongue weight capacity by 50% giving you a maximum of 100lbs of tongue weight for your bike rack and bike.
I did notice that the Aventon Level Step-Through e-bike has fenders and the 1UP USA 2inch Super Duty Single platform bike rack uses wheel mounts to hold the e-bike in place. If your bike does have these... view full answer...
You have a lot of options for a two bike rack for your 2010 Acura TSX.
Since you don't have a hitch you could go with a trunk-mounted rack. The most popular models with our Acura TSX customers are the Thule Passenger part # TH910XT and the Yakima KingJoe Pro part # Y02624.
The Thule Passage is a good entry level rack for occasional use.The KingJoe with folding arms includes several key features, such as a low-profile design with folding arms, sturdy steel construction and an integrated... view full answer...
Yes, Thule says the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Carrier, # TH45JV, is a fit for your 2008 Acura TSX.
In addition to the bike rack you may need to use a bike adapter bar, part # TH982XT, if you will be carrying women's, children's or alternative-framed bicycles. The Thule Adapter Bar allows you to carry those types of bicycles level on your bike rack, see video link. view full answer...
