Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at Wiper Technologies J Hook Style Wiper Blades, available in 28 inch and 32 inch for your RV. Now, these are gonna be just like the ones that are on your car, and swapping them in is gonna be nice and easy. Now, they also are great for all different weathers, whether it be sleet, snow, or rain, and it's just gonna give you better visibility throughout your driving experience. Now, they are contoured to actually spread out the pressure on the blade, allowing for a clean wipe. So let's take a look at the old ones and see how these compare. And as you can see, we have the messy window, so we're gonna see how well they actually do at cleaning.
So on our passenger right side here, we have our old factory wiper, then we have our new one here on the driver's side, so I'm gonna go ahead and squirt our windows down and see the effect of how well they work. So here, we can see that it is quite a bit smoother. Now, we did have some clots of mud, so as we kind of wipe it, it could get better over time, but it's pretty quick to see that you can see where our old wiper was definitely having some spots that it wasn't sitting flushed against the window, and that happens over time as your wiper blades kinda degrade, they're just not giving that nice sweeping angle and really squeegeeing all of that clean, and that is gonna cause us, especially while driving in sunlight, to make it pretty tough to see out and just overall not have a great field of vision while driving. Chances are, if your RV is older than two years old, your wiper blades will start to degrade. As sunlight kind of breaks down that rubber, it's just gonna make a not so clean streak as they make their pass, and having new ones with a graphite coating are really gonna make sure that that whole surface of glass is being peeled clean and left with a nice clean finish, no streaks left behind.
Now, replacing your old wipers is very easy to do, but there's a few things that you're gonna wanna do. First off, you wanna measure your old ones to see the length of it, that way, you're getting the right ones. Now, this is available in two different sizes, we have not only a 28 inch, which we're installing, but also a 32, which you could probably upgrade and get away with, depending on the curvature of your glass. So let's swap this one out. It's gonna be pretty easy, we'll just swing our arm out.
You also wanna make sure that you do have the J style, 'cause that's what these blades are, there's a bunch of different options of the hook here or your attachment point. So I try to stand on this side, because if this flings back on your glass, it can shatter it, so you just push on our tab here, and then we'll just slide this out, and then we can pull this one off. Putting our new one in place is very easy as well, we'll just go ahead and make sure that we slide in here as our J style hook will actually clip in, so we just kinda spread that out, and then this should lock in place here. Give it a quick tug just to make sure that you're locked in, and then from here, we can actually slide our cover off, and then place this on our window. So now, with both of our blades installed, let's actually go ahead and see if we can get rid of those streaks and get our windows nice and clean.
So as you can see, with our new wiper installed, it's taken away the streaks that the other one left behind, and that's just gonna make for better visibility while driving on the road. And that was a look at the Wiper Technologies J Hook Style RV Wiper Blades. Thanks for watching..

These fit my extra large hooks on my motor home
Wiper blades are a perfect replacement. Shipped and received quickly. As always, an excellent experience!
Wipers seem well built but did have a fit issue. My wiper arms are a “j-hook” design and the wiper blade frame interferes with the wiper arm. This caused the outboard end of the wiper blade to be lifted off the windshield. I had to bend the end of the wiper arms slightly to get rid of this interference. I haven’t driven in rain since installing the new wipers but expect them to work well.
This wiper blade has performed well in several storms.
While the wipers were fine, the packaging was ridiculous. It was in a box about 10 times the size of the wipers. The box was also stapled with numerous heavy duty staples making it nearly impossible to open. Once finally opened, the box was stuffed with packing material.

Since I live in south central Texas and we only get rain here two or three times a year, I can't rate how well these wipers perform their intended role. But I was very pleased with the physical quality of the wipers and the ease of installing them on my Fleetwood Bounder 35K. Also, very prompt shipping and delivery!

This was supposed to fit my rv but it didn’t. Not all hook type wiper arms are the same. My hook was too short to click into the wiper blade. They should note that on the product that it won’t fit an arm with a shorter hook.
Very unhappy. These wipers were too long and as soon as they were turned on they tangled in each other. One bent irreparably and the other cracked at the clip and came off the arm.
Just what I needed perfect fit heavy duty.
2023 Holiday Rambler Eclipse 35R
2023 ford f53. Jayco alante These blades do not apply even pressure along the length of the blade. Even though description says they do. They do not wipe the along the spaces between the arm brackets. The rubber blade not stiff enough to make even contact. I called customer service and they said the blades were not listed for my vehicle. I set my specs in the "my vehicle" and searched wiper blades. The proper sized blades returned. IMO, these blades would not work properly on any windshield period. My only option is to pay to ship them back and they will credit my account. And, I had challenge them to do that. They wanted me to work it out with the manufacturer.
