Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Scrubblade 24" long Hybrid Style ShadeBlade Windshield Wiper Blade. It's in the black color and it is for a quantity of one. Now, when you go to purchase your wiper blades, you wanna choose the correct wiper blades for your vehicle. So what you're gonna need is the length of the wiper blade and then how it attaches to your wiper arm. To get the correct length, you can basically look in your vehicle's owner's manual, or you can actually just measure the blade on your vehicle.
Basically all you need to do is just take a tape measure, measure blade from one end to the other. So on this one, if we get a tape measure up and let's lock it in there. And you can see this is a hybrid model, so you can see how it's sort of got a curve to it. So if we go from this end to that end, you can see there's your 24" long blade. Now, many vehicles, you use different lengths for the driver's side, the passenger side, and even the rear window.
Now once you know the size, then you just need to determine how it connects to the wiper arm. And there's a few different types of connectors. Basically, you just match the type of connector that's on your vehicle to the blade with the same, and most wiper kits will come with the selection like this of different adapters to fit many vehicles, just have to choose the correct adapter and then attach the blade to the vehicle. It's a very quick, easy installation on most arms, they use a J hook, a side pin, or a bayonet style connector. So basically here at etrailer, what you can do is you can use our fit guide on the website, pull up your year, and model vehicle, and it'll show you the correct wiper and the size you need for your vehicle.
Now this blade here is an all weather hybrid style wiper from Scrubblade, if you notice, has two blades on it to provide crystal clear visibility. The outer blade scrubs away any mud, bugs and road grime, and the inner blade will clear away any remaining water and debris for superior visibility. Now they, they do offer patented scrubbers. That's why they're called a Scrubblade. Now I wanna zoom in even closer.
You can probably see, let me turn this a little bit. And you can see right along the blade there's these little scrubbers on the outside of each blade on this side. If I flip it over on this side, you'll see, and that'll help you cut through the rough road grime that builds up on your windshield instead of just wiping water away, any type of grime or bugs that are get on there, that'll help scrub that away also. They do use silicone blades. They have a nice ceramic coating on them, and this is to ensure a nice, quiet, chatter free operation. They will hold up to heat and UV rays. The frame on this is a rubber covered frame, has a nice low profile blade that'll prevent wind lift. And the center attachment point right here ensures even pressure distribution for optimal performance. The color on this blade, it's black. The length we showed you before is 24", and it is for a quantity of one wiper blade. As as we mentioned, you can see it gives you the different adapters, gives you the plate that snaps on to accept those adapters and even gives you a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this goes on. These wipers are great. They leave no streaks and the red pops. These are my second pair. I get a lot of compliments.
Within 2 months, the mount of the passenger side blade snapped off the blade. Contacted eTrailer and manufacturer; indicated may have been bad blade. Ordered a replacement and exact same thing happened. Of course at the most inopportune time! Liked the concept but construction doesn't support.
They hold up very well, but I don't think they keep the window as clean as a conventional wiper blade. I only installed one Scrubblade and new regular type blade from Costco. The scrub blade doesn't keep the window as clean as the regular blade in slushy ice and snow nor in the Oregon rain after a few months. My guess is however the scubblade with outlast the regular blade 3 to 1 and do an "OK" job. The scrub blade is however, a piece of cake to install. It's very well engineered compared to the typical blade. Note: I am a clean nut!
did not hold up well in miami area. only lasted about 2 months..BUT they looked Good !!
Seems like they are better than stock. Haven't used them in rain/snow yet so will update once I have the opportunity.

These were easy to add and I quickly saw some benefit in a recent rain where they helps "srub off" some bug splatter. They did not immediately remove it, but through out a 45 min drive and light rain I saw a significant improvement at the end of my trip.
I did not need the red color and originally wanted normal black scrubblades but they do fit with my black and white rubicon really nice given red trim highlights.
I absolutely love love my new pink windshield wipers, there amazing. They arrived on time and packaging was great. Every woman should buy pink blades.

I didn't know they were a Rain-X covered wiper blade. They wipe good except they have to be extra wet to stop the squeaking and they leave a film on there which if there's any moisture on the windshield and you go underneath of a street light it makes it harder to see

Plugged my vehicle year make and model into the website, was given the sze that would supposedly fit and I was given two of the same size. So apparently these guys don’t j kw how wiper blades work and that you need two different sizes.

Best wipers I've ever had. Three relatives with same vehicle so I bought a pair for each of them. Worth the money
They fit quite well on my F150 Lightning. The j hook didn't need any of the adapters making it a 2 minute job to install. I'm not sure about the "scrubbing" but the wipers do a good job with water. I've only had them installed for a week, so longevity is yet to be seen.
I do like the blue wiper color as an accent for the Lightning.
I haven't had a chance to use them driving in the rain yet but they work great in the drive through car wash getting the bugs off of the windshield. I bought the red option. Goes great with my red exterior paint. They snapped on just as easy as the OEM blades came off. Took me about 2 minutes to install. Time will tell on how well they hold up in this West Texas heat. If they do and continue to perform well, I will be a return customer.
