Today on our 2016 Ford F-150, you're gonna be taking a look at . I'm gonna show you how to install the ClearPlus ProValue Windshield Wiper Blade.This is what our windshield wipers look like when they're installed. These are gonna help to ensure you have a clear windshield during those rainy, icy, and snowy conditions. What's gonna separate these blades apart from other blades out there, is these have a flow-through style frame. Some of the other ones out there may have a full cover on the top here, but these having a flow-through frame, or an open frame, it's gonna allow air to flow through it. It keeps it from lifting off the windshield.
Some of those ones that have the cover, they tend to lift off the windshield a little bit, which lightens how much pressure is being put on your glass.These are gonna be all-weather wiper blades. The frames are gonna be constructed out of a galvanized steel. Our hinge points are gonna be constructed of a stainless steel, so, they're gonna hold up in all-weather conditions. We're gonna have eight points of articulation, giving us an even amount of pressure between our blade, and our glass from one end to the other. And our blades are gonna have a molybdenum coating to help reduce skipping and shattering.To install our new windshield wiper blade, we're gonna have to remove our old one.
It's a good idea to take a piece of cardboard or something, and put it underneath where your arm attaches to your blade. The reason I say that is because this arm is metal and once you take this blade off, if this happens to slip out of your hand, it's gonna crack your windshield. Give yourself protection and put something down.To get our old one off, you have something like this, you're gonna pinch right here and pull up, then we're just gonna slide it out like that. To get our new one installed, we want the rounded edge here to go into the blade, so, we're gonna take our arm, or we want the rounded edge to go on our arm. We're gonna take our arm and we're gonna put it right in the slot.Once we get it on, we're gonna push 'til we hear a click.
Just like that. And then we're gonna repeat that same process for the passenger's side. That'll do it for a look at installation on a ClearPlus ProValue Windshield Wiper Blade on a 2016 Ford F-150.

I haven't put the wipers on yet. But the prices were very good especially for the popular name brands. Didn't like that they didn't carry all of the ones on their website though. But at least they were good enough to call me and tell me they couldn't ship it and offered one that was compatible to the one I ordered. All in all it was a good experience.
