This harness uses a powered converter that connects directly to the vehicle battery. That setup keeps the trailer lights from drawing power through sensitive factory wiring. Running the hot lead up to the positive post in the engine bay gives the converter a clean, reliable power source and keeps everything working properly.
Installing trailer wiring usually means cutting into factory wires, but this T-Connector skips that mess. It plugs right into existing connectors, so you don’t have to splice or guess which wire does what. Just snap the plugs in place and route the 4-flat lead to the back.
The built-in 4-pole flat connector gives you running, turn, and brake light circuits for standard trailers. It’s the common hookup for small utility, boat, and cargo trailers, so once it’s connected you’re ready to tow safely.
The plug-in harness tucks neatly out of sight thanks to its hidden plug-and-lead layout. It uses existing trim paths and grommet points for a tidy finish with no loose wires hanging under the bumper.

I wish this wiring harness would have had a bracket to where it could be mounted to the vehicle and or on the hitch. Basically from what I read on the instructions it tells you just to pull out the wire somehow from underneath the trunk panels and put it in use when you are towing. But literally that would mean smashing it in the trunk when it's closed
The actual installation of the harness was easy regarding the 2 sets of dual plugs. My only criticism of this harness "kit" is there should be a printed warning/explanation of the tools required to complete the job. While I already owned a T20 Torx socket bit (to remove the 2 tie-down rings) and a solderless connector crimp tool to assemble the hot lead components together, not everyone may already be in possession of such tooling and thus not able to complete the job in a timely manner.
