Where Does Power Wire of Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring C56180 Run on 2014 Cadillac ATS

Can power for lights come battery in rear of car or does it need to come from main battery iin engine compartment ?

When you install the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness part # C56180 in your 2014 Cadillac ATS you have to run the wire up to the positive post of the battery in the engine compartment as that is what Curt recommends and failure to do that would void the warranty.
