When front-mounted gear or equipment drags the nose down, this suspension system steps in to hold things level. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 8,000 lbs of front axle support, helping your ride stay even and controlled when carrying heavy equipment like a snow plow or in-bed spreader. With the truck level, steering and braking feel steady, headlight beams stay aimed correctly, and tire wear is reduced.
The hollow rubber spring design cushions bumps and rough terrain so the ride stays comfortable even when loaded. The rubber absorbs most of the road shock before it reaches the cab, cutting down on harsh hits and reducing wear on the factory suspension. It also helps prevent bottoming out on uneven or bumpy surfaces, keeping the drive smoother and more stable.
These springs are built to work progressively — soft when lightly loaded and firm when weight builds up. As the folds of each spring collapse under compression, they create more resistance to keep the vehicle from sagging. The stacked barrel shape naturally stiffens under pressure, giving solid support when it’s needed most while still allowing normal movement of the leaf springs under light loads.
Each hollow rubber spring supports its own side of the vehicle independently, which helps when cornering or hauling uneven loads. This setup cuts down on body roll during swerves or sharp turns and keeps both sides balanced if weight isn’t perfectly centered. The result is a more planted feel whether you’re steering through tight spots or cruising down highways with an off-center load.
Installation is straightforward thanks to vehicle-specific brackets that bolt onto each frame rail above the front axle. The springs mount directly below those brackets, already in contact with the axle so they start working right away. With no drilling required and no air hoses, compressors, or gauges to deal with, it’s an easy mechanical setup that’s ready for real work as soon as it’s bolted on.

It is designed to fit the 2010 and newer Ram 4500 and 5500 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive trucks, and it'll also fit the 2008 to 2014 Dodge Ram 4500, 5500 cabin chassis trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now this kit will help improve suspension, handling, and safety of your vehicle.
This does provide additional support as you need it so you always have a nice smooth, comfortable ride. It'll allow the spring ample movement while cushioning light loads and it does not affect the empty ride of the vehicle. And what's nice is these do become more rigid as more weight is added and that'll help increase stability, provide great performance while you're hauling heavy loads and it'll even help reduce vehicle sag. These do work independently side-to-side, help compensate for any off-center loads and they'll even reduce body roll when you're swerving and turning corners. They will also act as shock absorbers, taking the brunt of any bumps and rough roads, helps extend the life of your vehicle suspension.
And it does include everything shown here on the table. Includes the two hollow rubber springs, the vehicle-specific brackets, and the hardware. And these do replace the axle bump stops that are on your frame. There's no drilling required. Does come with a nice set of instructions that will describe how these install.
Few specs on this, this the capacity is 8,000 pounds. Now one note is these Timbren Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. But that should do it for the review on the Timbren front suspension enhancement system..

Bolted right in and work wonderful. Have them installed in the rear also. Night and day difference in handling.
