Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro rear axle double convoluted airbag suspension kit with internal jounce bumpers. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2019 and newer RAM 2500 with both the two or four-wheel drive models, and I do wanna let you know that this will not fit trucks with factory optional air suspension or the cabin chassis models. Now in custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

Now bottoming out just doesn't feel rough, it can actually wreck your airbags. That's why this system includes internal jounce bumpers inside of each bag. As you can see on that photo that I have there on your screen with that cutaway there, so even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. So you're gonna be able to safely run at zero PSI one unloaded, which means for you, no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory style ride. Now as you know, every haul is different.

Now these airbags are reinforced all the way through with heavy duty end caps, 20 internal support wires. We do have these heavy duty roll plates at the top and bottom. I mentioned the internal jounce bumpers and then the powder coated steel brackets. And then this does include corrosion resistant hardware. And I don't have it laid out here on my table, but I thought throwing up a photo of everything that's included in the kit would help you more easily see what you're gonna be getting. So all the hardware that you're gonna need to get this system installed into place. And then you're not gonna have to worry about road conditions, weather conditions, because the way that these are built and designed, they're gonna be able to put up with anything that you throw at it. And this kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades may take you down the road. So again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed, but maybe you already have an an onboard compressor. If so, that's great. These are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. But then maybe you're planning for something like an in-cab wireless controller sometime down the road. That's not gonna be an issue because what you're doing with this kit is building the foundation for your upgrades later on. So this system, for the most part, will grow with you. Now, I did mention that the load leveling support is up to 5,000 pounds, but do be aware the fact that these do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you do wanna make sure that you do not exceed your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. The brackets are not built heavy enough
good product , good strong solid metal parts and heavy bags. The instructions were not so hot but was easy to figure out and quick delivery !
Easy install. Will pull trailer 3000 miles on vacation and see how it performs to Montana on highways and Forest Service roads.
Where to start I have 1500 pounds of tools in my 150 Chevy had them installed and it totally changed the ride and handling of the truck haven’t pulled anything yet but I’m amazed on how different the truck is already I Baught the ones with the bump stops in them the HD ones

My experience with loading my truck and seeing the difference with these air bags from PacBrake, it does look way better and the truck feels a bit more stable running atspeed limit (65mph) after that it does feels jumpy if you go over potholes, but overall I'm happy with the product, thanks Etrailer,
2020 Ram 1500.
Installation is fidgety with lining everything together for the upper bracket with u-bolt(reason for 4 stars), but still preferred over cutting the bump stop mounts off. Replaced the Timbrens with this and it is night and day difference in ride quality both unloaded and towing.
Would purchase again.
Product is well constructed and installation is straightforward. But you cannot build the kit and slip it in, you have to leave the top bracket off and install it after setting the lower bracket and air bag in place. I will note, I was working off jack stands and a floor jack, not on a lift.
