When the load gets heavy, your truck shouldn't feel like it's fighting you. These air bags help you stay level, drive steady, and stay in control so you can tow with confidence and handle heavy loads without second-guessing your suspension.
When the load gets heavy, your truck needs more than just rear springs hanging on for dear life. Alpha XD air springs add up to 7,500 lbs of rear axle support, keeping your Silverado or Sierra level, steady, and confident even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, and the miles are long. No more rear-end sag throwing off your braking and steering, or headlights pointing into the sky. With air bag support underneath, you keep control of your ride, your cargo, and your peace of mind—even when you're towing a fifth wheel or moving a serious payload.
Every load is different. That's why Pacbrake gives you adjustable air pressure control between 5 and 100 psi. Need full strength for a heavy fifth wheel? Pump it up. Dropping off the trailer and heading home light? Drop the pressure for a smoother ride. Simple manual inflation lets you adjust your suspension without the guesswork, so your truck feels balanced and comfortable whether you're packed to the gills or just running light errands.
Extreme hauling demands extreme durability. Alpha XD springs are built with one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps and reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under load. Heavy-duty roll plates protect the bags from chafing and extend lifespan. Powder-coated steel brackets fight back against rust, road salt, and rough seasons. If it's bitter cold, scorching heat, or mud-slicked job sites, this system is made to outlast whatever the road dishes out, mile after mile, load after load.
Adding serious load support shouldn't mean losing a whole weekend. The precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your Silverado or Sierra's existing mounting points without welding or drilling your frame. Just smart engineering that fits the way it should which is perfect for the DIY-er. With high-quality fittings, pre-bent brackets, and mounting hardware included, you'll be back on the road with a stronger, steadier truck in just a few hours—without a trip to the fab shop.
This kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. You can inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. Already have an onboard compressor? The Alpha XD system connects easily to most existing setups. Planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road? No problem. The foundation is already built in, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Pacbrake Alpha XD rear axle, double convoluted airbag suspension kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2001 to 2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 3500 HD with the two or four-wheel drive. I do wanna point out that this kit has not been designed to fit your cab and chassis trucks, but on custom-fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So when the load gets heavy, your truck is going to need more than just the rear springs hanging on for dear life. These double convoluted airbags are going to add up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, and the miles are long. So with this kit, you're not gonna have to worry about any more rear end sagging, throwing off your braking and steering or headlights pointing into the sky. But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 PSI, if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank up the pressure with the manual inflation valves that are included.
And if you're unloaded and you're heading home, you can drop the pressure back for a softer ride. So you're gonna be able to tune your suspension for the day's work. It's gonna be very easy, very straightforward. Now extreme hauling demands extreme durability. So these springs are built with one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps, which you can't see because I do kind of have them loosely assembled here just to kind of give you an idea of what they're gonna look like when they're installed on your vehicle.
But again, one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps on each bag, and then they're reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under a load. And then these heavy-duty roll plates are going to protect the bags from chafing and help extend the lifespan. And then these powder-coated, custom-fit steel brackets are going to fight against rust, road salt, and rough seasons. So if it's a bitter cold day or season, scorching heat, or mud slick job sites, this system is made to outlast whatever the road is going to dish out, mile after mile and load after load. Going back to these brackets here, these are precision laser cut brackets that are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points.
So what that means for you is no welding, no drilling to your frame, so that's gonna make the installation all the more easier. I just wanna mention, as a side note, I'm very impressed with the powder coating on these brackets. It's one of the higher quality powder coats that I've seen on an airbag suspension kit on the brackets, and the bags themselves are just really high-quality materials. They feel very durable, very strong. So overall, I'm just really impressed with the quality from Pacbrake, and the fit and finish that I see here with this kit. So this kit is going to be designed to work with your setup right now or wherever your upgrade's gonna take you tomorrow. Again, you can inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts are gonna be needed, but if you already have an onboard compressor, these are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. If you're planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road, that's not gonna be an issue with this kit because you're laying the foundation, and that foundation's gonna already be built in with this kit, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready. So as I mentioned, the load support is up to 7,500 pounds of leveling support, but I do wanna point out that these springs do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. Instructions are included to guide you through the installation process. And if you do decide to pick this kit up, that's great. We would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting these installed and using them, so you can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. Again, we would love to hear back from you. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
