Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Pacbrake Alpha XD rear axle, double convoluted airbag suspension kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2001 to 2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 3500 HD with the two or four-wheel drive. I do wanna point out that this kit has not been designed to fit your cab and chassis trucks, but on custom-fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

So when the load gets heavy, your truck is going to need more than just the rear springs hanging on for dear life. These double convoluted airbags are going to add up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, and the miles are long. So with this kit, you're not gonna have to worry about any more rear end sagging, throwing off your braking and steering or headlights pointing into the sky. But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 PSI, if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank up the pressure with the manual inflation valves that are included.

And if you're unloaded and you're heading home, you can drop the pressure back for a softer ride. So you're gonna be able to tune your suspension for the day's work. It's gonna be very easy, very straightforward. Now extreme hauling demands extreme durability. So these springs are built with one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps, which you can't see because I do kind of have them loosely assembled here just to kind of give you an idea of what they're gonna look like when they're installed on your vehicle.

But again, one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps on each bag, and then they're reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under a load. And then these heavy-duty roll plates are going to protect the bags from chafing and help extend the lifespan. And then these powder-coated, custom-fit steel brackets are going to fight against rust, road salt, and rough seasons. So if it's a bitter cold day or season, scorching heat, or mud slick job sites, this system is made to outlast whatever the road is going to dish out, mile after mile and load after load. Going back to these brackets here, these are precision laser cut brackets that are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points.

So what that means for you is no welding, no drilling to your frame, so that's gonna make the installation all the more easier. I just wanna mention, as a side note, I'm very impressed with the powder coating on these brackets. It's one of the higher quality powder coats that I've seen on an airbag suspension kit on the brackets, and the bags themselves are just really high-quality materials. They feel very durable, very strong. So overall, I'm just really impressed with the quality from Pacbrake, and the fit and finish that I see here with this kit. So this kit is going to be designed to work with your setup right now or wherever your upgrade's gonna take you tomorrow. Again, you can inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts are gonna be needed, but if you already have an onboard compressor, these are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. If you're planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road, that's not gonna be an issue with this kit because you're laying the foundation, and that foundation's gonna already be built in with this kit, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready. So as I mentioned, the load support is up to 7,500 pounds of leveling support, but I do wanna point out that these springs do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. Instructions are included to guide you through the installation process.
