When the load gets heavy, your truck shouldn't feel like it's fighting you. These air bags help you stay level, drive steady, and stay in control so you can tow with confidence and handle heavy loads without second-guessing your suspension.
When your van is upfitted for serious work or hauling heavy gear, factory suspension alone won't cut it. Alpha XD Pro air springs add up to 7,500 lbs of rear axle support to keep your van stable, level, and confident under pressure. Whether you're hauling tools, delivering cargo, or running a mobile service setup, you stay in control with less squat, improved stability, and more confident braking.
Bottoming out doesn't just feel rough, it can wreck your air bags. That's why this system includes jounce bumpers inside each bag, so even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. You can safely run at 0 psi when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound just that smooth, factory-style ride.
Some days you're fully loaded, others you're running light. With Pacbrake's 5 to 100 psi adjustable range, you get the right support for every trip. Inflate for full load stability or deflate for better comfort when unloaded. Manual valves make it easy to adapt your suspension to the job on hand.
Built for demanding commercial use, Alpha XD Pro springs use one-inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps and 20 internal support wires for serious strength. Heavy-duty roll plates protect the bags from chafing and extend lifespan, while powder-coated steel brackets fight back against rust, road salt, and rough seasons. If it's bitter cold, scorching heat, or mud-slicked delivery routes, this system is made to outlast whatever the road dishes out, mile after mile, load after load.
No welding. No frame cutting. Alpha XD Pro kits bolt directly to factory mounting points on your van chassis. With laser-cut steel brackets and all hardware included, install is straightforward—perfect for fleet techs and DIY installers alike.
This kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. You can inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. Already have an onboard compressor? The Alpha XD Pro connects easily to most existing setups. Planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road? No problem. The foundation is already built in, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha XD pro rear axle double convoluted airbag suspension kit with internal jounce bumpers. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2007 and newer Sprinters, the 2500 and the 3500, both the two wheel and four wheel drive models. And this is gonna be for the single rear wheel model only. So this is not going to fit the dual rear wheel models and it's not gonna fit the eSprinter models, nor will it fit the models with the ride height sensors. So that's a lot of information there to give you right up front.
But all that to say, please be sure to go through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. And our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So when your load gets heavy, your Sprinter is going to need more than just those rear springs hanging on for dear life. These airbags are gonna give you up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your Sprinter level and steady even when the cargo area is loaded, or your trailer is loaded, and or the miles are long as well. So you're not gonna have to worry about rear end sag throwing off your braking or your steering or that rear end sag, shooting your headlights up to the sky.
Now bottoming out doesn't just feel rough, it can actually wreck your airbags. That's why this system do include internal jounce bumpers inside of each bag. On your screen, I've got a cutout here showing you where that jounce bumper is at. So even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net and you're gonna be able to run safely at zero PSI when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory style ride. And of course each haul is different.
That's why these air springs give you full control over the ride height and firmness with adjustable pressure from five to 100 PSI. So if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you'll just crank up that pressure. And then when you're unloaded headed home, you could just drop the pressure back down for a softer ride. With the manual inflation valves included, tuning your suspension for the day's work, it's gonna be pretty straightforward. Now, extreme hauling demands extreme durability.
These springs are built with one inch thick corrosion resistant end caps, and you can't see those end caps, 'cause they do kind of have these loosely assembled, as to how they're gonna get installed on your Sprinter. And the bags are reinforced with 20 internal support wires giving you maximum strength under a heavy load. Then you got these heavy duty roll plates on the top and the bottom. They're gonna protect the bags from chafing and help extend their lifespan. And then you get these really nice powder coated steel brackets that are gonna fight against rust and corrosion. So this kit is going to be able to put up with anything that you get that you throw against it. It's gonna be good for all seasons and be able to handle whatever road conditions you encounter. These precision laser cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your Sprinter's existing mounting points without welding or drilling. And you'll just use the included hardware to get these installed into place. So this kit is designed to work with your setup today. And wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow, you're again gonna be able to inflate these manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. So no extra parts are gonna be needed. But if you already have an onboard compressor, these are gonna connect very easily to most existing setups. And then if you're planning for something like an in-cab wireless controller sometime down the road, that's not gonna be a problem because with this you're building in the foundation that's gonna make it very easy to expand or control options when you're ready sometime down the road. Now this is again gonna give you up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling support, but I do wanna make you aware of the fact that these airbags do not actually increase your trucks or your Sprinters load leveling or your load capacity rather. So you do wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. If you do pick this up, we want to hear back from you about how the installation went, and how this is working out for you. You can share your experiences with us by dropping a comment, or leave it a review on this product page. And if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. We'd love to hear back from you and help you out further. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
