Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Today we're going to review part number VX-DH10. These are the Vision X H10 Halogen headlight bulbs, premium white color, and a quantity of two. These would come to you in this nice, hard plastic protection case, protects your bulbs from any damage. Then once you get them you just pop them open to access them. One note I do want to mention that when you do handle the bulbs, when you go to install them and you need to handle them, basically handle them by the base or the plastic portion. You don't want to hold them by the glass because what'll happen is everybody has oil on their fingers and if you touch that glass portion that oil will stick to that glass. Then what happens when you go to install these and turn them on, it's a high temperature bulb, it could cause that oil, that film that's on that bulb to make that bulb either crack or shatter. When you do handle these bulbs you want to handle them by the base or the plastic area of the bulb. These are halogen bulbs which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs, gives you improved brightness, increased visibility.
This bulb is a premium white light which will shine up to 40% brighter and up to about 35% further than your factory bulbs, and it also reflects better off the road signs and markers on the highway. This is a high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness, and it also increase your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. This is a durable, long-lasting construction. Has about a 250-hour lifespan. It is a fast, easy installation. If you notice right here you just plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets.
These bulbs are Department of Transportation compliant. Few specs on it; this part number contains quantity of two bulbs. Again, the bulb type is H10. The wattage is 42 watts at 12 volts. The brightness is 900 lumens, and the color temperature on these bulbs is 4300 degrees Kelvin. These do come with a lifetime warranty. I purchased these items as replacements for when my existing headlights eventually fail. Since I haven't installed them yet, I can't remark on the quality/improvement etc, however I was very pleased with the pricing and the service provided by e-trailer.
Upgrading my headlights was one of the best additions to my truck. I drive through Kansas where there are no lights. Now I do not overdrive my headlights. I have plenty of light on the road.

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.
A dummy could put these in. (super easy to do)

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty

Wrong bulbs for my model vehicle.
Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks
These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.
