Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at the Sylvania Basic H1 Halogen Headlight Bulb. Now, this bulb is going to replace your standard equipment headlight halogen bulb with the same grade and specifications. So, again, the bulb type is H1, and on your screen on that graphic there you also see that I'm including the shape and base information. And the 3,200 kelvin color temperature is going to give you a pure, more neutral white color than the 2,700 kelvin options. This bulb has an average life of about 335 hours, the lumen rating is 1,550 lumens, and the base is going to give you a simple installation with the plugin fitting here.
And as you can see, I am wearing a pair of gloves. When you are changing out your bulbs, it's a good idea to wear gloves or at least use a clean shop towel so you don't transfer the oils from your skin onto the bulb itself. This is going to be legal for on-road use. It does meet the Department of Transportation regulations for performance and life, and it is a good idea to replace the bulbs on both sides of a vehicle to give you that consistent light level and color.
