Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 9006XV Halogen Headlight Bulbs. Now, folks, these replace your standard equipment, that 55 watt halogen bulbs you have. These are the same grade and specifications. You can see they got the same three plastic indentions, so when you're pulling these out or putting 'em into your headlight assembly, you're gonna be twisting them either clockwise or counterclockwise to unlock 'em and then pull 'em out carefully without touching the bulb and then plug the new plug or the plug back into the new bulb here. Now, like I mentioned, you never wanna touch the bulb itself 'cause the oil from your skin could deteriorate the bulb and change its longevity of life.
Now, these are gonna produce a brighter beam and more defined edge than your standard bulbs. The 3,200 kelvin color temperature is gonna emit a pure, more natural white color than say your 27 to 3,100 kelvin options out there. It is recommended you replace them as a pair, that way the sides of both headlights are constant with the same light level and color. And as I mentioned before, the bulb simply plugs into your wiring harness. It does meet all DOT specifications and regulations, and it is legal for on-road use.
Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look today at some headlight bulbs by Sylvania. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Great repalcement for factory bulbs.
