Today we're going to review part number VX-D9007. These are the Vision X 9007 Halogen Headlight Bulbs. These are a premium white color. They come as a quantity of two. When you do receive them from us, we'll be shipping them in this nice, hard plastic container to protect them from any damage. When you get them, you can just pop them open, and then you have access to the bulbs. One note I do want to let you know is when you do remove these from this case or when you handle them to install them, you want to handle them by the plastic base.
You don't actually want to touch the bulb itself, because what happens is on your fingers you'll have an oil residue. Once you touch the bulb, it will transfer to that bulb and leave oil on the bulb. Then when you install these and then turn them on, they're such a high temperature that lots of times what will happen is that heat will cause that oil on the bulb to either crack the bulb or shatter it. You try not to touch the bulb itself with your fingers. Always handle it by the plastic part. These are halogen bulbs, which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs.
Gives you improved brightness, increased visibility. They give off a premium white light that will shine up to about 40% brighter and up to about 30% further than your factory bulbs. They do reflect better off of road signs and markers. They do have a high-color temperature, which improved the visibility, promotes driver awareness. It does increase your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. They are durable, long-lasting construction. They are very fast and easy to install.
You just plug these right here, you see at the bottom, plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets. They are Department of Transportation compliant. The specs on this again. The quantity will come as two bulbs. The bulb type again is 9007. The wattage, this is a dual-filament bulb.
The low beam is 55 watts at 12 volts. The high beam is 65 watts at 12 volts. The brightness on this bulb is 900 lumens. Again, the color temperature is 4,300 degrees Kelvin. These do come with a lifetime warranty on them. We'll just put it back in the case there. That should do it for the review on part number VX-D9007. Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty

These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.

- Replacement High/Low Beam Headlights for a Chevrolet KodiakThe Chevrolet Kodiak has two separate headlight bulbs/housings, one for high beams and one for low beams. If you wanted to replace both the high and low beams then you would need two sets of the Vision X Headlight Conversion Kit part # VX-46.
