Today we're going to take a look at the Flex-a-Lite Mojave vehicle heater. This Mojave heater is a compact and powerful heater that will make the job of adding or replacing a heater very easy and affordable. It is designed to provide cabin heat in tight places, so it's perfect for your hot rod project, antique truck, Jeep, or even a utility vehicle. It is small enough to mount under the dash or even under a seat. It does use heat from your hot coolant in your vehicle's cooling system. You connect it right here.
This kit does include everything shown here on the table. It includes the heater itself, the 3-way switch, the wiring, fuses, and all the hardware for installation and a nice set of detailed instructions. The heat output on this is 12,000 BTU. The air flow is 140 cubic feet per minute. Again, it is a 3-speed motor. Power draw is about 6 amps.
The weight of this heater is about 6 pounds. I do want to give you some dimensions, just to let you know the size of this. We'll start with the width at the widest point. It's going to be right at about 10 and 1/8th inches wide. The height from the bottom to the very top is 5 inches.
The depth of it at the widest point is going to be right at about 9 inches deep. I also want to mention that Flex-a-Lite does offer, and we do sell them separately on our website, 3 optional types of installation kits to help you install this. Also they offer 2 different add on plenums that you can snap onto the front here to change the direction of control of the heated air. Those are also listed on our website as additional items.
