This trunk bike rack safely transports 2 bikes to your favorite spot. Securely mounts to the rear of your Mercury Sable using the Fit Dial adjustment system and multiple straps. Anti-sway cradles hold bikes by the frame and reduce movement while driving.

Note: This dual-arm rack reduces the need for a bike frame adapter bar (sold separately) to mount a children's, women's, or alternative frame bicycle. However, to mount certain bikes or to keep your bike level on the rack, a bike adapter bar may be required. Most step-through bikes, dual-suspension bikes, and small children's bikes will require a bike adapter bar.
The Thule Passage offers an affordable, safe way to transport two bikes without a hitch. The Passage mounts to the rear of your vehicle with six integrated straps and Thule's patented Fit Dial system, which adjusts the rack base to ensure a snug fit.
The Passage includes cushioned anti-sway cradles with Thule's No-Sway Cage accessories to prevent bike-to-bike contact during transport. The anti-sway cradles also keep your bikes from making contact with the vehicle.

Hanging style bike racks like the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier and others like them do require the use of an adapter bar like part 64005 to properly hang bikes with slanted cross tubes. The adapter bar gives the bike a horizontal surface to hang from.

One year update! Still loving this. Its super stable on my trips from long island up to the adirondacks and hasnt failed me yet. The straps hooks are still practically new and the rubber clampy strap things are still super tight. I never worry that my bike is going to be loose. Well put it this way- if I had to buy another bike rack, Id buy the exact same one and Id Def purchase again from etrailer.

Hi Jennifer,I have purchased the same vehicle and noticed you placed the clips on top of the spoiler and on the edges of the glass - Doesnt the weight the bikes brought down the little spoiler at the top of the glass?

In response to JPs question: No, we havent noticed any pull on the spoiler at the top of the glass.

I wish that the bar that secures “female” bikes was included. I also ended up spraying the metal clips with rubberized spray because it will scratch where it contacts. I transport a very heavy e-bike mostly, I’ve been extraordinarily happy with its performance, price, and it’s easy on, easy off style. Often recommend.
