These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of sight and out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at these bull ring, flush fit, retractable tie down anchors for your truckbed stake pockets. These heavy duty anchors are going to attach to your truckbed stake pockets and give you tie down points to secure your load working with your S-hook and J-hook connections. Now, these are going to fit your 2022 or newer Hyundai Santa Cruz, and then various years and models of the Dodge Ram truck. To confirm that these are going to work for your vehicle, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make, and model of your vehicle.
And our thick eye will let you know if these will work for your truck or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, while the factory anchor points are inside the bed of your truck, where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points install in the stake pockets on top of your bedrails. You're going to simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure a load. And then just push it down firmly, flush when you don't. And those rings are going to be out of your way.
Again, once these are are installed, they're going to be very easy to use. Again, you just pull up firmly on that ring and that's going to secure in place. It's not going to drop down accidentally or slip down. It's going to hold its position the whole time that you need it, while it's securing your strap. And then when you're done with that ring and you want it out of your way, just push it down firmly.
And that's that. Now this flush fit is going to be compatible with most tonneau covers and it features this really nice black nickel, gun metal finish. It's going to look really attractive sitting there on the bed rails of the bed of your truck. Now, these anchors have a weight capacity of a thousand pounds. They're constructed of stainless steel.
So that's going to resist rust and corrosion. And installation, for the most part, is going to be very quick and easy. In most cases, it's going to require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver. To begin installation, you would just have to, first of all, remove any plastic cap that covers the stake pocket. However, on the 2009 and newer Ram trucks, you will need to do some trimming. You'll need to trim out the rail cap and then the edges, after that cap is trimmed out. And to make that job easier for you, Bull Ring has some bits that are available, that we have here at etrailer.com. We have a rail cap router bit and a rear pocket saw bit that will make the trimming job easier for you. If you're interested in checking those bits out, I have included our item numbers on your screen. Just take those item numbers and put them in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com. And that will take you to those parts. Now on the Hyundai Santa Cruz, you will just need the rail cap router bit to make the insulation of these a little bit easier for you. So again, that item number is on your screen for that bit. So once you've removed any plastic caps, or once you've done any trimming, if that's necessary, on your truck, you will then use your Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the two screws in the anchors. And I went ahead and loosened the screws on this particular anchor. And then you're just going to remove the screws. And then once you have those screws removed, you take a hold of the top cover here, and that's going to allow this bracket and plate to drop down freely. You're not going to have to worry about it becoming disconnected and possibly losing that in your stake pocket because it is attached to the bottom of this ring. So then you're just going to guide the anchor into the stake pocket at an angle. And once you have that in the stake pocket, bring it up so that the lower bracket will catch on the truck's sheet metal. And then, once it's caught on that sheet metal, grab a hold of the ring, drop that cover down into place. And then just go ahead and reinsert your screws. And then go ahead and tighten them down. And all you have to do is hand tighten those screws. If you over tighten them, you might notice your, the plastic on the plastic rail cap starting to bend or bow. And if you begin to notice that, that means that they are too tight. So all you have to do is hand tighten them and then they're going to be installed, ready to go. So you are going to get a set of four tie down anchors. And overall, I'm really impressed with these anchors. They are very well built. They feel very solid, pretty robust. They're going to be very easy to use. When you want that ring, you just pull it up firmly. It's going to pop into place. And then when you're done, push it down. It's out of the way. And I think, for the most part, installation's going to be very easy on these, as well. So if this meets the specs that you're looking for, if these are going to fit your truck, and you like that gun metal finish, then this would be a good option for you to consider. I use these all the time. Super easy to install. The only reccomendation is that they would pop up and stay up if wanted. as they are now you need to pull the loop up and hook our rope or strap or they will retract by Gravity.
