17-1/2" Wide x 10-1/4" tall x 3/4" deep, highest-quality, tube-fin cooler improves the functioning and longevity of your vehicle's transmission, power steering or fuel system.

Specs:
Perhaps the simplest type of heat exchanger, the tube-fin effectively cools a variety of automotive systems. The concept is simple: Fluid cools as it travels through the core by transferring heat out to the fins. The fins then provide the surface area necessary for sufficient heat exchange to take place, allowing the heat pulled from the fluid to dissipate into the surrounding air. Add to that the unique turbulator technology - whereby fluids are agitated continuously to not only facilitate heat transfer, but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure - and you have an easy and effective cooling system.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Derale Series 7000 8-Pass Tube-Fin Cooler Core with the AN Inlets. Now this tube-fin cooler is the simplest type of heat exchanger. It'll effectively cool a variety of automotive systems. And this part number here is for cooling of your transmission fluid or power steering fluid. Now basically the concept is pretty simple.
The fluid cools as it travels through the core by transferring heat out to the fins. And then the fins provide the surface area necessary for sufficient heat exchange to take place. Allows the heat pulled from the fluid to dissipate into the surrounding air. This one here has built-in turbulators that'll agitate the fluid for more efficient cooling. And this is a larger cooler.
They could call it an 8-pass cooler, which basically means the fluid will pass through the fins here eight different times. This part is recommended for full-size cars, trucks, and SUVs. It is designed with half inch copper tubing, which expands into the aluminum fins for maximum heat transfer. Copper is the best material for conducting the heat out of the fluid. While the aluminum is ideal for transferring and dissipating that heat.
It is very quick, easy and effective. Prevents any heat related component failures. And what's nice on this edge, and right here on this edge, they have these plastic fin guards, which will provide protection from the sharp fins during installation. This part is made in the USA. Few specs, again, the inlets on this end right here, they're a size minus six AN.
The overall dimension, if we measure from this end all the way out to this end. So if we put a ruler on that, you can see it's gonna be right at 17 and a half inches wide. The overall height on it is gonna be right at about 10 and a quarter inches tall. The depth of it is only about three quarters of an inch deep. Now just the core, which is measured from here to here, that's gonna measure right at 13 and three quarter inches. And then the distance between the inlets, so the two inlets, one right here, one right here, If we go center-to-center on those, is gonna be right at eight and three quarter inches. But that should do it for the review on the Derale Series 7000 8-Pass Tube-Fin Cooler Core with the AN Inlets..
I thought it came with the hoses as wel l.
