Today we're going to review part number FT9000301. This is the Fulton single speed winch with a 900lb weight capacity. This single speed winch has a convenient two-way ratchet system. It is built of a carbon steel construction which offers superior strength and durability for better function and increased lifespan. It has an oil impregnated shaft bushing and a full length drum bearing which makes for smooth and efficient operation. It does have a Z-Max 600 finish which will provide increased corrosion resistance.

It does have a comfort grip handle which makes cranking very easy. Now, this winch is designed for use with either a rope or a strap. It is not designed to be used with wire cable. Now, the handle length on this winch would be 7 inches. This does have a gear ration of 3.1:1 and basically what that would mean is that to rotate this drum one complete revolution you would need to turn your handle 3.1 revolutions.

The maximum storage on this drum would be 36 ft by 1/4 inch diameter rope or 15 ft by 2 inch wide strap. The strap would fit right in the 2 inch wide drum. Again, this has a weight capacity of 900 lbs. It does come with a limited 3 year warranty and basically just to show you how this operates; with this ratchet right here in the upright position you will be able to crank clockwise and then if that is put in the lowest position--when it's in the lowest position you will be able to crank counter-clockwise. It won't go the other way.
