Step up from dim, power-hungry bulbs with this Optronics LED trailer light that runs on both 12V and 24V systems. It uses 10 diodes to deliver bright output for parking and turn signals while drawing very little power—just 0.360 amps for the turn function and only 0.030 amps for the parking light at 12.8 volts. That means you get strong, consistent lighting without stressing the electrical system.
This round 4-5/16" light is completely sealed, making it waterproof and a smart choice for trailers that see rain, road spray, or even full submersion. The polycarbonate housing and amber lens form a tough, one-piece design that protects the LEDs from moisture and impact so the light stays reliable trip after trip.
Mounting is straightforward thanks to the standard PL-3, 3-prong plug connection that works with common pigtails like A45PB or A47PB (sold separately). The recessed mount uses a grommet (A45GB, sold separately) to hold the light securely in place. If cutting a hole isn’t preferred, an optional BK45BB bracket offers another mounting option while still using the same grommet.
This light meets DOT and FMVSS 108 requirements for safety lighting, so you know it’s up to spec. The long-lasting LEDs are rated for a lifetime of use, meaning no more swapping out bulbs or dealing with corrosion inside cracked housings—just dependable visibility whenever you’re on the move.

Today we're going to take a look at the Optronics Amber submersible stop turn and tail led trailer tail light. Now this is around led trailer tail light that will serve three functions, stop light, tail light and a turn signal light. The sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens is submersible. It is a durable polycarbonate lens and housing and the LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer, they're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output and of course no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break.This one is an Amber lens over white LEDs. Now this is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. To mount this, it is a recess mount design.
It does use a grommet. We do sell that separately on our website as part number A45GB and we do list it on this product page as a related product and it'll mount in any 360 degree position.It does accept the industry standard three prong plug and again, those we sell separately. It's part number A45PB or A47PV. This slide is DOT, Department of Transportation compliant. Again, this is 10 diodes.
The power draw at 12.8 volts for the stop and turn signal is 0.208 amps for the tail light signal is 0.027 amps. They do offer a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. I want to give you some dimensions and then we're going to plug it in just to show you how bright the light is.So the overall diameter, you can put a rule on that is four and five sixteenths of an inch. And the thickness I'm going to measure including where the plugin goes is going to be right at one and 15/16 of an inch.So what we're going to do I attached a three prong plug right here to our 12 volt power. So we'll line up the poles and go ahead and plug it in.
And with it plugged in we'll go ahead and turn the power on and you can see there's your 10 LEDs coming on. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and there it is as a tail light function. And then when you apply the brakes, you'll get a brighter brake light.And then for the turn signal, when you put your turn signal on, you can get your turn signal light. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power, but that should do it for the review on the Optronics Amber submersible stop turn and tail LED trailer tail light.

I am in the process of renovating a 1966 Airstream. I wanted to upgrade the tail lights and the clearance lights. I found etrailer.com on a web search. I ordered the round 4" LED, rubber 4" grommet, and Oval LED clearance light. The round stop with grommet adapeted perfectly into the lens on the Airstream. I will feel so much safer now with the added visability. The lights are stellar.
They work great and we're fairly easy to install as a replacement for the old style brake lights with bulbs....
I had to replace one burned tail light on my 2005 cargo trailer. I bought two and replace the other one as well. They work perfectly. The size and the 3 pins connction are the same as the original. A little downside is regarding the packaging. I would expect each light wrapped individualy to avoid the rattling in the box. See pics.

I have a Haulmark utility trailer. One tail light was giving me trouble and I tried fixing it but decided to just replace it with these. They are brighter and fit right in to the old grommet. They were a bit loose so I wrapped some e-tape around them and they are staying in place just fine. I also ordered the pigtails and soldered and heat-shrinked the connections - the factory connecting were "scotch-locks", which I hate. After I did this, I looked closely at the old lights and realized that there was a 3 prong plug which I might have been able to use rather than doing new connections and soldering them, but by doing what I did, I now have tight connections and I can easily replace the light if I ever have to (I got rid of the scotch locks). Yes, I could maybe have soldered the old connections and used the old plug, but it was constructed in such a way that I didn't realize it was there (I thought it was part of the light body). My picture shows the old light and the old plug disconnected from it and the new LED in place on my trailer. It works great - glad I did this. It's much brighter than the old light.
THESE ARE AWESUM. They even look good when off !! Cant wait to BLIND some tailgaters. Drivers who tailgate boat trailers need to be tazed. I ADDED a Sequential Turn module to each side making them even better. A 3rd brake light wire controls others so only E-Trailers Optronics blink. SUPER BRIGHT !! These pull no power at all so I run 30 LED units or hundreds of bulbs all around the trailer.
Bought these LED Stop/Tail lights for my new dump trailer. The factory stop/tails are mounted very low, and any car directly behind me blocks my lights from the 2nd or 3rd car behind me. So I mounted these new ones up as high as I could to let people know I am stopping or turning. I also mounted a side marker light so I could see where the trailer was while backing up at night. The factory marker lights are so low I can’t see them in my mirrors because they are blocked by the step on the drivers side and the spare tire on the passenger side. I am a retired 18 wheeler driver of 47 years.

This light was almost an exact match for the stock light that came on the camper. I bought 2 and replaced them both, and they seem to be a little bit brighter than the originals, which I am glad with.

Identical size, shape & function to the original taillight on a 2-yo Master Tow dolly. Replacement taillight from the mfg didn’t fit the original taillight bezel. This one is an exact fit.

I have not hooked it up to power, but I'm sure it will work. THe only disappointment I had was the light I removed had a rubber pad to help seal the screw holes and wire entry to the back of my trailer to keep moisture out. This light does not have that and it is not available from your company.
Exact replacements for my old tail lights.Fit perfectly. They also solved the issue. Tho old tail lights were allowing the blinker current to back track through the clearance lights. One of tail lights had water in it and when it flashed the clearance lights flashed too.
While I've not yet installed these they look like good replacements for the OEM lights. They are the correct style, size and the screw hole placement seems to be correct. My only reason for giving them an average rating is that they don't come with any gaskets. The original lights have a gasket between the back of the light and the wall of the camper. While the light unit itself is sealed the wires come through a hole in the camper wall and without a gasket the possibility of leaks is there. I will likely buy some gasket material from an auto parts store and make my own. No, I don't think the camper sealant will work as well as a rubber gasket.
