Old incandescent lights just can’t match the visibility or lifespan of LEDs. This Miro-Flex light uses 16 white LEDs behind an amber lens to deliver a clean, bright signal that draws attention day or night. It’s efficient too—pulling only 0.023 amps for parking mode and 0.181 amps for turn signal mode at 12.8 volts. You get high output and low power draw, all in a sealed design that lasts far longer than traditional bulbs.
Moisture is a constant threat on the road and especially near the water. This round light is built to take it, with a waterproof housing that keeps the internal electronics sealed off from rain or submersion. That makes it a dependable choice for anything that spends time around wet conditions without worrying about corrosion or shorts.
If you like a smooth, factory look, this light mounts flush with your trailer surface using a grommet (A45GB – sold separately). It fits into a cutout so nothing sticks out or snags. For setups where cutting a hole isn’t ideal, you can use an optional mounting bracket (BK45BB – sold separately) while still getting that recessed style.
Wiring doesn’t need to be complicated. The light connects with a standard PL-3 style plug that works with right-angle or straight pigtails (A47PB or A45PB – sold separately). Just plug it in and you’re ready to go—no special adapters needed.
Built to handle vibration and impact, the polycarbonate construction protects the LEDs from damage on the road. The built-in reflector boosts light output even more, helping this DOT-compliant light stay visible while keeping maintenance easy with a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.

Today, we'll be reviewing part number STL23AB. This is the Micro-Flex Round Amber LED Trailer Light from Optronics. The amber 4 inch round trailer light is going to serve two functions on trailers less than 80 inches wide. It's going to serve as your parking light and your turn signal light. It's going to be a great replacement for incandescent lights. You don't have to worry about replacing any of your bulbs and you don't have to worry about burnt elements. It's going to feature a sealed waterproof housing and lens unit.
It's got a corrosion-resistant design, featuring 15 amber LED's and it will conveniently accept the industry standard 3-prong plug that's going to be sold separately. Also sold separately is the grommet. That way you, you can flush mount this unit. To go over the measurements real quick, it's going to give us a diameter measuring from edge to edge of 4 and 5/16 of an inch. It's going to give us a depth of 2 and 3/8 of an inch. It also features Micro-Flex technology that's going to increase light output while 90% less energy than incandescent lights.
It's going to feature a contemporary appearance while it maintains a traditional footprint. The LED light is going to draw 0.181 and 0.023 amps at 12.8 volts and it is Department of Transportation approved. It meets DOT specifications. We're going to go and hook it up to our external power source. That way, you can see what the light looks like with power running to it. With out overhead lights turned off, we're going to plug in the 3-prong plug.
Again, that is going to be sold separately. You can see there that it covers up all the connection points to keep any dirt and grime out of the connections. You can see here that it's going to send out a nice, consistent signal for the parking light. Then when we apply the turn signal, you can see how it brightens up quite a bit, sending out an even stronger signal. Again, that's going to contain 16 LED's. That's going to do it for our review of part number STL23AB.

The technology of the Miro-Flex is an amazing upgrade from the previous generation of LED lights. Even in the dark garage, not connected to any power source, I set this light, and a 1st generation 6inch LED light on the table. Turned off the lights and shined a flashlight over both of them. The STL22ab reflected light from all of the 16 individually prisms. It was amazing, the other LED did not. This light is BRIGHT, solid construction and arrived from ETRAILER.COM quickly packaged in a box to protect it. Will be ordering 4 RED ones to replace my other older LEDs.

These lights are of very good quality and are really bright. I use them on an early 70's Bronco for the front turn signals. Day or night, they are distinct and unique and best of all, . Definitely visibly on during the night AND the day (this can be seen in the photo taken on a Snow day, bright, while half way out of my garage). Great price for a great product
