Older incandescent marker lights can fade or burn out fast. This round 1-11/16" GloLight M3 uses 5 red LEDs behind a clear lens to throw out a smooth, bright outer ring of light that stands out cleanly at night. It’s more efficient than a bulb setup, using only 0.12 amps at 12.8 volts, and there are no filaments to break or bulbs to swap. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer, so you can count on consistent brightness and low power draw every time you tow.
Moisture can ruin a light fast, but not this one. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps water from sneaking in and damaging the diodes or circuit board. Whether you’re hitting rain-soaked roads or backing into water, this submersible light stays protected and reliable.
Installation is straightforward. The light mounts on the surface of the trailer and only needs a 1-3/8" diameter hole for wiring. A two-wire pigtail with 0.18" male bullets makes the hookup quick—one lead for power and one for ground. Mounting holes are spaced 1-3/4" center-to-center, and it’s easy to finish the look with the optional chrome bezel (sold separately).
Safety depends on being seen, and this P2-rated light covers a 90-degree spread—45 degrees to either side of centerline—so it clearly marks trailer corners or edges when used as a clearance or side marker light. That beam pattern helps other drivers see your trailer head-on while keeping your lighting package neat and uniform.
Built for life on the road, this light’s polycarbonate lens and housing handle vibration and weather without cracking or fading. Measuring just 3/4" deep, it sits close to the surface for a clean fit while still putting out strong, even light that looks sharp day or night.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Optronics Glow Light, M3 LED Clearance or Side-Marker Light. This round trailer light, with a smooth, bright, outer band serves as either a side-marker light or a clearance light for your trailer. It does feature a sonically sealed design, so it's got the nice, waterproof housing and lens unit that is completely submersible. It's a full-LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. It's got the nice, clear lens with red LEDs, and a polycarbonate lens and housing that's strong and durable. Mounts on the surface of the trailer.
There is a small hole that will be required for the wiring to pass through. I did measure that, and it measured to be about 3/4 inches. So, I think a 3/4-inch diameter hole should work out really well.Mounting hardware is not included. It's a two-wire design, with the 0.18 male bullets on it for hardwired applications. Those can be cut off and the wiring can be stripped back, if desired. Also, there is a chrome bezel that's made for this unit. It offers a really nice, finished look.
It is sold separately and available at etrailer.com. This is a P2-rated light, and it's Department of Transportation compliant.A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick. Measuring edge-to-edge, from this point here to this point here, measures about 1 and 13/16ths of an inch. And it measures the same going this direction. The depth, from the mounting surface to the outer edge of the lens, was about 3/4 of an inch deep.
And then that lens has a diameter or about an inch and a half. The mount holes on this unit are separated on center by 1 and 3/4 inches. The light contains a total of five LEDs or five diodes. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way, you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a low-light setting. So, here, you can see, the light sends out a nice, strong, consistent signal, and you can really see that smooth outer band that goes around the perimeter of the unit.
When it comes to the power drill, at 12.8 volts, we're looking at 0.12 amps. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics Glow Light, M3 LED Clearance or Side-Marker Light.

Exactly what I needed to rewire my vintage trailer.
Best online company experience so far. Excellent communication that seems truly personable. Product was exactly as expected and looks great. Used as a side marker on the tongue of my aluminum PWC trailer along with rear tail glolights. Thanks again.
