Today we're going to take a look at the k source custom manual driver's side extendable towing mirror. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999-2007 Ford F250, F350, F450, and the F550 models with manual mirrors. It will also work on the 2000-2005 Ford Excursion with manual mirrors. Now, on a custom fit part, I always like to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year, model, vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this extendable towing mirror will replace the factory driver's side view mirror on your vehicle.
We're using this . No need to use any of the snap on or strap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. This mirror has a telescoping function, which make it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, or park. Basically, all you have to do is pull the mirror away from your vehicle, just like that and you can see it pulls it out, extends your line of sight by about 3 and a half inches, and then when you're done, you just have to push the mirror back into place like that when you're not towing. Now, the mirror is a manual mirror, so it is adjusted by using your hand to adjust where you need it to be. On the very bottom, you can see that smaller mirror.
That's a spotter mirror. This'll reduce any blind spots and it is also a manual adjustment. This mirror does have a hinge design to it, which means it allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or fitting into tight spots. There's a durable plastic housing, has a nice textured black finish to it, and again this is custom fit for your vehicle. It is a simple no drill installation. Even comes with a new foam gasket when you go to install this. Again, this is for one driver side mirror only. Do want to give you a few specs on this . We're going to measure the mirror face, so we're going to measure the width, and then the height, and the height will include the spotter mirror for a total height, so the width on this is right at 7 and a half inches. Overall height including the spotter mirror to the top is 11 inches. Now, the retracted length on this, it's in the retracted length position, if you measure from here to the very edge, is 18 inches, and then again if we just pull this out, the 3 and a half inches, and the extended length from here to here is 21 and a half inches, but that should do it for the review on the K Source custom manual driver side extendable towing mirror.

No-drill installation.I ordered towing mirrors separately but was contacted by Kathy at etrailer who said they didn't have the driver side in stock but they had a kit with both mirrors and could send me that instead. I agreed and they arrived in just 3 days. The driver mirror wasn't useable and I contacted etrailer about this. They had me send pictures and then sent a label for return shipping. They stayed in contact with me and let me know when the new mirror was shipped and it arrived in a timely manner. Great to work with and attentive!
