When you’re not towing, the main body stays concealed for a clean, factory look. The removable arms leave nothing bulky sticking out from the front, keeping things neat and unobtrusive. It’s a setup that blends right in while still being ready to tow at a moment’s notice.
Connecting your tow bar is simple with the twist-lock tabs. Each arm slides in, locks with a twist, and you’re good to go. It’s a reliable connection system that keeps things easy when you’re setting up or breaking down your towing rig.
This kit bolts securely to the chassis with no welding required. The welded steel design spreads towing forces evenly to help minimize weight on the suspension and maintain stability mile after mile. Each unit is physically tested to the vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) for dependable strength under load.
The base plate is protected by a high-gloss black powder coat and co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating. That combination resists corrosion and keeps it looking sharp through weather, road grime, and long hauls.
Everything needed for installation comes included—base plate and mounting hardware—so you can bolt it up and go. The distance between brackets is 20" and bracket height is 13-1/2". It carries a limited lifetime warranty for long-term peace of mind.

Base Plates mounted on my 2022 Ford Bronco is holding up 100. Great quality finish that has not rusted. I have seen base plates from other companies being installed on Broncos and they are making major modifications. Not my Curt Custom Base Plates. An easy DYI with no major modifications. We have towed our Bronco 13,000 miles behind our Class A and its a flawless tow. These base plates were also priced much better then other brands. Thank you Etrailer!
