Some covers make you wrestle with snaps or straps just to get to your gear. This one glides open with sealed ball-bearing rollers that never need lubrication. The pop-up handle lets you slide the cover with one hand and lock it in place anywhere along the rails. You can even leave it partially open to cover smaller items while hauling something tall in the back. When you’re done, it retracts neatly into its canister so the bed stays clear for loading.

Weather, snow, and heavy loads are no problem here. The panels are 1" thick aluminum that resist dents and impacts while supporting up to 500 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The matte black finish is scratch resistant and won’t fade in the sun, keeping the cover looking clean after years of use. The wide rails sit just 1" above the bed for a low-profile, streamlined look that blends right in.

When closed, the cover overlaps the tailgate and seals tight on all sides to keep out water, snow, and dust. Foam and weather-strip seals prevent leaks and protect the bed rails from scratches. The locking handle sits flat under a lid that shields it from dirt and moisture, so the keyhole won’t corrode or jam. Lock the handle and your tailgate, and the bed becomes a tough, enclosed space that’s nearly impossible to pry open.

Some retractable covers eat up too much bed space. This one stores inside a compact canister with an angled bottom that leaves extra room for long items underneath. A spiral track system keeps the aluminum slats from rubbing together as they roll, preventing wear. Two drain tubes route any water that gets inside out through the bed floor, keeping the canister dry and mildew-free.

You don’t need to drill into the bed to mount this cover. The side rails clamp securely onto the bed rails, and the pre-assembled canister bolts right up with the included hardware. Just square the rails, tighten the clamps, hook up the drain tubes, and it’s ready to use.

Ratings & Reviews
Pretty stellar product. No buyer's remorse on this end.
The RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover does leak more water then I thought it would or was lead to believe it would. Also, I thought it would lock in different locations when it was rolling in or out but it doesn't. Question is would I buy it again most likely not because of the issue with the leaking water & not locking in different positions everything else is what I thought it would be, thank you.
