When you’re carrying expensive tools or gear, a cover that can’t be pried open makes all the difference. The RetraxPRO MX uses heavy-duty aluminum slats that are 1" thick, giving it serious impact and dent resistance. Once closed and latched, the locking handle sits flush and hidden under a lid, so it’s nearly impossible to reach or force open. Used with a locked tailgate, your cargo stays fully protected from both weather and theft.
Getting in and out of your truck bed shouldn’t be a fight. This cover slides on sealed ball-bearing rollers with no need for lubrication, so it glides open and shut evenly every time. The pop-up handle lets you move it easily with one hand and lock it at any point along the rails. You can even leave it partially open to cover smaller gear while hauling long items in the back.

The angled bottom of the canister also leaves extra room underneath for tools or smaller items, so nothing goes to waste.

After about a year owning this cover, I still would buy it again. If you set it up right in the first place, it will work flawlessly. The locking mechanism still works great. The rolling part still works great. Aside from a solid cover, this is the most secure cover I have ever had. It does get some drips of water inside after washing the truck but its not enough to worry about, even if you had a bed full of stuff.

So on the plus side, love how it opens all the way up. When were loading the bed for travel, I need it fully open. Downside is the amount of room the canister takes up and the water as previously mentioned. Still quite easy to use!
