Sometimes you need every inch of your bed space for hauling bulky items. With this cover, you can remove or reinstall it in about 10 minutes using just a wrench and screwdriver. The canister detaches from the rails and lifts out easily, so you can load up sheets of plywood, tools, or camping gear without the cover getting in the way. Once you’re done, it’s just as fast to put everything back on and secure your bed again.
Opening this cover is quick and effortless thanks to its built-in tension spring. Just squeeze the pinch grips under the rear plate and the heavy-duty spring automatically retracts the cover into its canister. It glides back smoothly without binding or jerking, so grabbing gear from the bed or switching back to closed mode takes only a few seconds.
The deck combines a vinyl top layer bonded to rigid aluminum panels, giving you the sleek look of a soft cover with the strength and security of a hard one. The ArmorTek surface resists water, debris, and sun damage while keeping its clean black finish. Foam seals under the rails and a large tailgate seal block out water and dust, protecting your cargo through rain or snow.
When open, the cover rolls into a canister that’s only 9-1/4" tall by 9-3/4" deep. Its angled shape protects the retracted panels while leaving more usable space in your bed for cargo. Drain tubes built into the canister route water through the bed floor, keeping things dry inside and preventing freezing in cold weather.
The side rails sit just 1/8" above the bed rails for a flush, streamlined appearance. This low profile helps reduce wind drag for better aerodynamics and a quieter ride. With the cover closed, it blends into the lines of your truck while securing your gear behind a locked tailgate.

A year later and the cover is still working great. I do have to say that it leaks like a sieve at the tailgate, but that’s the only issue. It’s hard coming from a tri-fold that completely covers the bed and kept water out, but the benefits still outweigh this one con. It’s holding up great and still slides flawlessly. I probably don’t lubricate it quite as much as I should, but the few times I’ve done it has helped it slide like new again.

Glad you like it! I have had one of these on my Silverado since 2018 and it's still holding up very well! Just don't smash a bookcase into it when it isn't opened all the way. They don't like that. : P What are you going to be keeping in your bed? I keep a bunch of survival type gear in a milk crate. The cover keeps everything nice and dry.

Update: Purchased in July 2025, it is now September 8th 2025, so basically 2 months since installed. The cover will not retract all the way. Called the manufacturer for warranty. I basically have to remove the cover and inspect the spring assembly. They will then send out a new spring assembly that I will need to install myself. This will require a fair amount of my time, which I am not happy about. This unit should not fail in two months, especially with very limited use. I would have preferred them to send a new cartridge that I could put in the truck for ease of repair. They dont care about the customer experience, apparently. Do better Pace Edwards!
