Rain, snow, and dust can sneak into a truck bed and ruin your gear. The E-Series solves that with a full perimeter rubber seal that keeps water from seeping in along the edges. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the spring-loaded clamps pull the cover tight to the bed so everything inside stays protected from the weather while you drive.
Sometimes you only need part of the bed open, other times you need the whole thing. The tri-fold design makes that easy. You can lift the rear panel at the tailgate for small items or fold up and secure two panels for two-thirds bed access. Need the full bed? The entire cover removes in minutes with no tools required. It’s a simple setup that works for everyday cargo or larger hauls.
A flimsy cover won’t last, and a heavy one is a hassle to move. This one uses a lightweight aluminum frame reinforced with Extang’s heavy-duty support bows under a durable vinyl grain top. The result is a sturdy structure that resists sagging and holds its shape through use and weather without adding unnecessary weight.
Bulky rails can make a truck bed look cluttered. The E-Series keeps a clean, standard-profile look that sits right on top of the bed rails. All the attachment hardware is built into the cover—no loose clamps or bolts to install or misplace. Just position it, tighten the spring-loaded clamps, and you’re ready to drive. When it’s time to remove it, everything lifts off as one piece, leaving nothing behind on the bed.
Open beds catch air and create drag, which can cost gas mileage. The aerodynamic shape of the E-Series smooths airflow over the truck to help reduce wind drag. That means a quieter ride and slightly better efficiency while keeping your cargo covered and your truck looking sharp.

2 years in the cover still looks and fits great. No visable signs of wear. Great product.

That’s actually a pretty common thing with soft tonneau covers like this. When the temperature rises, the vinyl naturally expands, which can cause it to sag a bit in certain spots. It’s not a defect or anything like that, just the way the material reacts to heat. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to prevent it, especially in hotter climates, but the cover will still do its job of protecting your truck bed. Speaking of which, what do you keep in your bed?

Thanks for your feedback Eric and we apologize that was your experience, The Extang E-series is designed with weather seals and generally does a good job keeping water out during normal rain and driving conditions but like most soft folding tonneau covers, it is not completely waterproof. Going through a car wash, especially one with high pressure sprays or brushes could cause water to seep in around the seals or tailgate area. Touchless washes are usually safer than brush style washes for soft covers like this.
