Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Optronics LED Trailer Taillight. Now this round trailer taillight is going to give you three functions. I do have this connected to my power source already and you can currently see the taillight function. But I'm gonna go ahead and activate the brake light function and then the turn signal function.
So you have three functions that this light is going to give you. Lemme go ahead and turn my studio lights off here just to give you a better demonstration of what this is going to look like in low light or dark conditions. So again, we have the tail light function and then the stop light function, and then the turn signal function. And one other thing I wanna show you, going for a wide view here, I wanna shine this on the wall behind me. I'm gonna have to activate the brakes there, and then the turn signal.
So you can see it puts out quite a bit of light as I'm shining that on the wall behind me. And my camera's not focusing perfectly since I have the lights off there. But hopefully that will give you an idea of what this looks like from a distance turning my lights back on, break, and then turn signal and then just a normal taillight there that you've already seen. Now these do feature six diodes and as you know, LEDs are long lasting and energy efficient. There is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.
This is going to plug into your 12 volt system. Lemme go ahead and give you some measurements. Looks like the diameter we're sitting right at about four and five 16 inches with the diameter. And then the thickness, including that plug, where the plug goes into the housing, if you wanna call it that. We're about one and 13, 16 inches deep overall.
And this is a heated lens, so that's going to make sure that you have consistent illumination in cold or damp conditions. It's gonna prevent snow and ice buildup from obscuring the light and extending the lifespan of the light by preventing damage caused by moisture accumulation. This light is sonically sealed. The polycarbonate housing and lens unit is going to be submersible. And this recessed mount with grommet will seamlessly integrate into your trailer. The grommet is sold separately and so this is going to fit into a four and a half inch diameter hole. And the weather type connection point on the back of the light does require an adapter. And on your screen, I'm putting that adapter there. If you don't currently have it with our item number, that adapter is going to allow you to plug this in. It uses the industry standard three-prong plug. So you can take that item number that you see there on your screen for that pigtail, pop it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to that adapter and you can add that to your order, if you are in need of it. This is DOT compliant and I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
