Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Blue Ox easy light tow bar wiring kit for your Honda CR-V. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2011 Honda CR-V vehicles. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. So when you're towing a car behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the tail brake and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal.
This kit here will plug into your factory connectors on your vehicle to connect the electrical signals from the motor home to the car. Now this is a complete plug and play option for your vehicle. So the installation of this kit's pretty quick and easy. It is a complete kit, includes everything shown here on the table. It'll include all the hardware installation components you're gonna need, including detailed instructions.
Now we'll include everything shown here. We'll start with this converter box, comes with all the wiring to it. The four-way wiring you see that'll go to the front of the vehicle. Right here they'll have a four-way flat mounting bracket with installation hardware to hold that four-way at the front of your vehicle, comes with this four-way dust cap that you can put on here to cover that when it's not being used to protect the terminals, some terminal grease that you'll put on all your electrical connections. And then some cable ties here to take up any slack in the wiring.
Now if you notice, it does include the screw and what that's far is if you notice on the four-way this white wire with the eyelet on it, that's to connect to a good clean ground if there's one nearby. If there's not, you can use this grounding screw to make one. Now basically when you go to install this, what you'll do is go to the rear of your vehicle and these connectors right here are gonna plug into connectors behind your rear tail lights. So the one with has the yellow wire in it, that's for the driver's side. You'll go behind the driver's side, unplug it, plug this in, this other one with the green wire and the length of wire that'll go over to the passenger side.
Same way, unplug behind the taillights, plug this in, and then you'll run this length of wire all the way to the front of the car. As we mentioned, ground this with the grounding screw if you need to. And when you get this to the front, what you're gonna do is take your mounting bracket with the hardware, mount that somewhere in the front there, and then it'll hold that into place. And again, if you need to use the cable ties, take up any slack in wire. Also make sure to use that terminal grease on your electrical connections. Now one thing I do always remember, if you have any questions regarding this product or any of the products, please don't hesitate to contact us via phone chat or email or if you've purchased any product from us, send us pictures of it being used in your application 'cause we'd love to see how the product is working out for you. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Blue Ox Easy Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit for your Honda CR-V.
