Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hi, everybody. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Blue Ox EZ Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit. Now folks, this is a custom fit application, so make sure you double check in the fit guide here at etrailer.com. Enter things like your year, make, and model of your vehicle, submodel. Any kind of questions it asks you to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time.
Now, getting into it, this is gonna be a custom wiring harness, again, for flat towing the car behind your motor home. So, you're gonna need a way to get those tail lights, brake lights, turn signals back from the RV to the back of your towed vehicle to make sure you're safe and legal. This does just that for you. You're gonna get some brackets, self-tapping screws, dielectric grease, and cable ties, and even a little dust cover for the end of the four-pole connector. That's gonna be what you plug in from the back of the RV to this.
You have a ground wire, a long length of wire, it's gonna go back to the back of the vehicle that's being towed. You're gonna have this diode converter, and what that does is basically convert this signal coming from the RV to the correct signal going out to the car that's being towed. Then, you're gonna have this T-connector, which is like the letter T, and you're gonna unplug on both sides of the towed vehicle, the taillight connector that's plugged into your tail lights, power them up. You'll unplug that, you'll plug it into whichever one of these it matches up with, and then you'll plug the other one back into the backside of your taillight, thus completing the installation without cutting, splicing, any of that tedious stuff. So a very great, easy-to-use product.
Buy Blue Ox. Again, folks, this is the EZ Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit. Again, check the fit guide here at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
