When you’re hauling gear or equipment, strength matters. This 13" x 4-1/2" steel modular wheel carries up to 1,660 lbs and uses a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern with a 2.99" pilot diameter. The automotive-rated center disc and 1/2"-20 bolt holes give it the bite you want for secure mounting and confident torque retention on long runs.
No one wants to constantly recheck lug nuts. The raised center disc and beveled, uncoated stud holes help maintain clamp force so the wheel stays tight against your hub. This Improved Torque Retention (ITR) design keeps everything seated right where it should be, even after repeated trips and temperature swings.
Road grime, salt, and moisture don’t stand a chance. The wheel’s finish goes through a zinc phosphate pre-treatment, e-coated primer layer, and a baked-on acrylic enamel coating that resists chipping better than standard powder coat. It’s rated for more than 1,000 hours of salt spray exposure, so it keeps its clean white look season after season.
This Taskmaster steel wheel meets SAE J1204 standards for dependable performance. It comes with a valve stem installed, so once you mount your tire you’re ready to air up and roll. The combination of solid specs and proven construction makes it a straightforward pick for dependable towing duty.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today, we're going to review part number TTW345545WM1. This is the Taskmaster 13 inch x 4-1/2 inch steel modular trailer wheel. It has the five long four and a half inch bolt pattern and is white in color. Now this steel wheel has the modular design, which is very sturdy and corrosion resistant and by the modular design, that would be the wheel that has the round holes, that go around the edge of the wheel. This wheel does go through a three step finishing process, which makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath. This helps ensure good paint adhesion.
It's then e-coated with an acrylic primer base. Then the front or the outward side of the wheel is finished with a baked on DuPont white powdered paint. The light e-coat on the inboard side of the wheel. This will help reduce friction between the wheel and your hub, eliminates flaking that can occur sometimes with a heavily applied paint finish. This wheel does use the ITER, which is Improved Torque Retention Technology. This will help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer without the need for constant re-tightening of the lugs. It is raised right here, around the center of the wheel and the lug holes are beveled and uncoated for better retention after the lugs are tightened and then torqued.
Now the wheel dimension on this is 13 inches in diameter. With inaudible 00:01:26 is four and half inches wide. When you go measure the dimension on the wheel, you're actually going to be measuring the the bead seat to bead seat. In other words, the tire when it's mounted on here, the tire beads with the seat right here. When you go to measure the width, you'll measure inside the inside where the entire bead seats are. The width, you can see on this, is 13 inches for the diameter. Now, the width of the wheel, again, you measure bead seat to bead seat.
Inside to inside. On this, you'll see it is four and a half inches. 13 x 4-1/2 inches wide. The bulk pattern is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. On a wheel that has an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five. To measure the bolt pattern just pick any lug hole.
Measure from that hole to the whole right across from it. Either one of these. When you measure it, you'll measure from the center of the starting hole to the outer edge of the second hole. Basically, on this one, if we're going to measure from here to here. we'll do to the center to the outer edge and it's four and a half inches. Five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Let's use a wheel lug size, so the half inch by 20. The pilot hole diameter, which is this large hole right here in the center of the wheel. It goes over the hub on your trailer. This wheel, it's going to measure right in at about three inches. Now, the weight capacity on this wheel is 1,480 pounds. The last thing I do want to mention, if you'll notice, this wheel does have a valve stem already installed. Basically, when you receive this wheel, it will come with the valve stem already installed, ready for a tire to be put on it. But that should do it for the review on part number TTW345545WM1.

Very nice powder coating on heavy duty 110psi rated wheels that arrived when promised. For someone looking for a great looking RV wheel without the price of aluminum alloy wheels and much easier to clean these are excellent value in my opinion.
Lowest prices rims with the highest load rating I could find. Bought these to replace a mix match set that was rusty for a used dump trailer I just bought. Found China tires 225/75/15 load e the red and blue pin stripe really adds to the white color of the rim. I’m right at 100 dollars per wheel tire can’t complain
So far so good. Replaced old bent trailer wheels (galvanized spoke type) with these. Read that the modular wheels are a little stronger than the spoke type so giving them a shot. Trailer is 49’x105”, Aluminium/steel, boat type, fifth wheel, with mini spread 6k torsion axles. About 3.6k lbs empty; normally 8~15k lbs loaded. Since it’s setup mini spread the tires scrub quite a bit. Was running E load range 235/85/16’s but switched to F load range, same size (Incredible difference longevity wise/they’ve been great! Hercules H-901). Anyways, I did lots of research and found out that these rims are rated for up to 120psi (tires are 105psi). You can run F range tires on these no-problem. Supplied valve stems are only good for like 80psi (rubber snap in) so I ordered some 120psi (metal bolt in) stems separately. Understand the wheels are still rated for the same amount of weight, but if you’re tired of replacing trailer tires constantly or, like me, have a mini spread or spread axle setup, F load range is the way to go.
The wheel arrived on time and as advertised. It's a great product, very sturdy wheel. Mounting the tire on it was no trouble. Also customer service has been very attentive for several of my orders now, so kudos for that.

Wheel's arrived with chipped paint, just a dusting of paint on back side of wheel, Had to apply paint to prevent it from rusting. Two painted stripes on the wheel are also very poorly painted. I would have been better off having my old wheels sand blasted and powder coated.
Had them on the trailer for a year now and no rust. Great wheels for the money.
