When you’re towing serious weight, strength matters. This 15" x 6" Sendel Series T17 aluminum wheel is rated for 3,200 lbs and meets DOT specifications, giving reliable support for heavy-duty hauling. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and 0 offset provide a solid, balanced stance that keeps things steady mile after mile.
Moisture, salt, and road grime don’t stand a chance. The matte-black aluminum construction is rustproof, and a clear coat finish on the front and back protects against scuffs and scratches. Whether you’re around water or driving through varied climates, this wheel keeps its good looks and integrity over time.
This rustproof aluminum wheel doesn’t just look sharp—it also cuts down on weight compared to steel alternatives while maintaining durability under load. That lighter construction makes handling and towing smoother without sacrificing toughness on long runs or rugged routes.
The mesh-style face gives the wheel a modern, eye-catching appeal that instantly refreshes the look of any trailer setup. The machined face adds contrast and depth so it stands out without being flashy. It’s a simple way to make your rig look fresh while staying functional.
This wheel is built for straightforward fitment with standard specs that take the guesswork out of matching components. It uses a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, a 3.75" pilot diameter, and accepts 1/2"-20 wheel bolts—an easy match for secure installation and dependable alignment every time.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Sendel 15 inch by 6 inch Series T17 matte black aluminum trailer wheel with the 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. And we mentioned this is the Sendel Series T17 and that's a mesh style design wheel that has a nice matte black finish. Now, the front and even the back of the wheel is all clear coated.
And this wheel is a high-quality wheel, meets the DOT Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. Now if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure when you order it, that you order one that'll have the correct diameter to fit into this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.75 inches, so you wanna make sure to get a cap with that same diameter 'cause it'll install through this hole.
A few measurements I wanna give you on this wheel is the diameter and the diameter of wheel is always measured inside the inside. So if we take our tape measure, and you can see if we go all the way across, there's your 15 inch diameter. The width will be the same way, you're measuring inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, so you'll see there's your six inch width. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel with an even number of lugs, like in this case six, it's pretty simple because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So just pick any hole, measure from the center of that hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this wheel, it'll measure 5-1/2 inches. So this is gonna be a six-lug 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 3,200 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Sendel 15 inch by 6 inch Series T17 matte black aluminum trailer wheel with the 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

The product works fine! I only wish I had purchased a cover for the metal part in the wheel center.
