Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Dexstar 15-inch-by-5-inch pebbled dark silver modular steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now, this wheel is a sturdy steel construction. It is a modular design. When we say modular design, that's the one that has the round holes that go all the way around the wheel.

Now, this wheel has excellent corrosion resistance, and we mentioned the finish on this. The finish is a pebbled dark silver powder coat finish over an E-coat primer. What I wanna do is zoom in even a little bit closer just to give you a better idea of what that finish would look like. So you can see as I tilt it, has sort of a unique pebbled dark silver finish. Now, this is a high-quality wheel.

It does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. If you notice, it does not come with the center cap. If you do want one, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you install the center cap, it will go through this hole. The diameter of the pilot hole is 3.19 inches.

This part is made in the USA. The dimensions on this wheel, we're gonna measure the diameter, which will be measured inside to inside. So on this one, it's a 15-inch. So you can see, if we get our tape measure and we go all the way across inside to inside, there's your 15-inch diameter. The width will be the same way.

It's inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. There's your five-inch width. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like, in this case, five, what you'll want to do is you'll pick any one of the holes here, let's say this one, and you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure it, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to. So on this one, if we measured it, it'd be 4 1/2 inches. So that means this has a 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of a half-inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds.
