Ready for the road, this pre-mounted tire and wheel combo handles your gear with confidence and tracks straight on long hauls. Durable powder-coated wheel resists rust, and the low-profile tire design helps boost fuel efficiency.
This combo comes mounted and ready to install, so you can skip the extra steps. Whether you are replacing a worn setup or getting a trailer ready to go, it saves time and gets you back on the road faster.
If you are hauling equipment, enclosed trailers, or heavier cargo, this setup gives you the support to do it confidently. The Load Range D rating handles up to 2,540 lbs per tire, making it a strong fit for more demanding use.
This bolt pattern is commonly used on larger utility, cargo, and equipment trailers. It lines up with heavier-duty hubs, making replacements straightforward when you need them.
The KR53 radial tire is designed to track straight and stay stable at highway speeds. It helps reduce sway and uneven wear, especially on longer trips where consistency matters.
If you want something beyond a basic steel wheel, this adds just enough detail. The black finish with red stripes gives your trailer a more dialed-in look without going over the top.
The 15 inch diameter and 6 inch width give you the size and support needed for larger trailers. It is a practical match when your setup is carrying more weight and covering more miles.
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, Kenda will replace it. That's confidence you can count on, whether you're heading to the jobsite or the campsite.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST225/75R15 load range D radial trailer tire mounted on this 15" black mod steel wheel. Now, this trailer tire and wheel combo is gonna be a great upgrade for you if you're looking for a dependable towing experience and towing performance. This is going to give you a cleaner, more custom look than just a plain steel wheel. And as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped here in our tire, this is an ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire, and this tire is specifically for trailer use only. It's not for vehicles.
And it comes mounted on this 15" black mod, and mod describes the circular pattern here that we have inside of that wheel, so black mod wheel. And it's got these really nice double red pinstripes around the inside perimeter. So, all that to say this is gonna be ready to install right out of the box when you get it. The tire is a load range D, meaning it has an eight-ply rating, and it's built to handle those heavier trailer loads. This tire is rated for up to 2,540 pounds at 65 PSI, so that's gonna make it a good fit for something like utility trailers, campers, enclosed trailers, and other setups that carry a little more weight.
So, this is a KR53 radial trailer tire from Kenda, and what that means is this KR53 is designed for smoother highway towing and better overall stability. Because this is a radial tire, it runs cooler than many bias ply tires. That's gonna help reduce heat buildup during those long drives. And that cooler operation's gonna help promote more even tread wear, and can even extend the life of your tire over time. This does use a bolt pattern of 6 on 5 1/2".
And if you don't know how to measure your bolt pattern on your trailer, take a look at this product page, scroll a little bit lower on the page, and we walk you through step by step how you can measure your bolt pattern to make sure that this is going to work for you. The wheel itself, looking at the diameter, measuring bead seat to bead seat is 15", and the wheel is 6" wide. This does not come with the center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 4.25", and the wheel stud size is 1/2" by 20. But this setup stands out without being too flashy. The black wheel with the subtle red striping is gonna give your trailer a more finished, dialed-in appearance, if you will, while keeping a rugged, practical style.
It's a nice middle ground if you're wanting something with a little extra style without going overboard. But I really do like the black and red pinstripe combo. Now, if you are looking for help with getting this installed on your trailer, maybe you're buying more than just one and you want help getting this installed, on this product page, typically underneath the photos section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link and answer the questions that it has for you, and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to do the work for you. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Great to hear everything arrived safely and was an exact match for your Big Tex setup! That’s always a relief when the fit is spot-on right out of the box, especially with trailer wheels and tires where compatibility really matters. We also appreciate you sending over the photos they’re really helpful for other customers trying to match their own setups, and it’s great seeing everything installed and fitting perfectly.

Glad we had what you were looking for, Elizabeth! The 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern is definitely starting to get more and more rare these days, so I'm glad we had an option for you! ^___^ What are you going to be carrying on your utility trailer?
