Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement Dacromet mounting bracket for your Kodiak disc brake caliper on the 8,000 pound axles. Now this caliper mounting bracket is designed for use with disc brake assemblies featuring over the hub rotors. The finish on this is a Dacromet finish, so it provides corrosion resistance for fresh water and limited salt water use. It does have a 300 to 400 hour salt spray rating. The embossed bolt holes will provide extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts.
Gives a nice, tight, secure connection between the bracket and the caliper. The side support ensures that the load is carried by your bracket, not just the bolts. And this is a universal design. It'll work for either left hand or right hand assemblies. Application, again, this is for calipers on disc brake assemblies with over the hub rotors.
The axle rating these will fit on is 8,000 pound axles. The rotor diameter is 13 inches. And the brake flange configuration you can see here, this attaches to a four bolt brake flange. But that should do it for the review on this replacement Dacromet mounting bracket for the Kodiak disc brake caliper on 8,000 pound axles.
