Ready for the road, this pre-mounted tire and wheel combo handles your gear with confidence. Aluminum wheel resists corrosion, and the low-profile tire helps boost fuel efficiency.
This combo comes pre-mounted and aired up, so it's ready to install right out of the box. Whether you're replacing a worn-out setup or prepping a new trailer, you'll save time and skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation.
With a Load Range D rating, this tire offers strong hauling capacity for gear, tools, or recreational equipment. A great choice for steady performance without upsizing your setup.
This popular bolt pattern works with many common utility, cargo, and boat trailers. It's a reliable match for most small to mid-size trailers, so you can tow with confidence knowing it fits right.
The KR35 tread is engineered to help channel water away from the contact patch, improving grip and stability on wet pavement. Whether you're towing through rain or shine, it keeps your trailer tracking with confidence.
Radial construction helps reduce heat buildup and extend tread life. The included aluminum wheel features a corrosion-resistant black machined finish that stands up to weather, grime, and road wear.
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, it gets replaced - simple as that. It's just one more way Kenda's helping you tow with confidence, mile after mile.
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, Kenda will replace it. That's confidence you can count on, whether you're heading to the jobsite or the campsite.

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are (also called bolt holes)
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier KR35 ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire in a load range D, and it's mounted on this 13-inch series AM08 black aluminum trailer wheel with a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for utility trailers, cargo trailers, and even campers. This complete assembly comes pre mounted and aired up so it's all ready to install right out of the box. The wheel is an aluminum wheel. It is durable, lightweight, and rust proof.
We mention it's the series AM08, 5-spoke design in the black color. And you could see they do a machine edge on the spokes to give a nice shine to it. The front and even the back of the wheel is clear coated for protection. Now if you notice this wheel does not come with a center cap. You do want a center cap.
We do sell those separate on our website. If you want a center cap, you do wanna make sure to get one that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you install it, it'll go through this hole. Diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches. Now the wheel itself is a 13-inch diameter, width on just wheels four and a half inches wide. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern.
If you wanna measure that on a wheel like this, that's an odd number of lugs. Just pick any hole, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this one it'll measure four and a half inches. So that means it's a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern.
It does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. Weight capacity on just the wheel is 1,740 pounds. And the tire that's mounted on this is a Kenda Karrier KR35. This is an ST radial trailer Tire. Has a computer designed footprint on it, gives you exceptional wear across many different loads, and also gives you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. We mentioned it's an ST tire, that stands for Special Trailer Tire. Has the sturdy sidewall so it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. It does use double steel belts in a full nylon ply that combines for superior function and long life. And the tire size, which is stamped on here, you can see ST for special trailer, 175, 80R13. R means it's a radial tire. Section width on it, 6.8 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 24.1 inches. As we mentioned, it is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire and it does have a maximum load capacity of 1,650 pounds at 70 PSI. And they do have a speed rating on the tire. They stamp a speed rating on the sidewall with a letter designation. And where you'll find that is right after the tire size we went over, there's two numbers for a load index and then the letter N, speed rating N, means it's an 87 mile per hour speed rating. Now this tire and wheel someway does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Kenda Karrier KR35 ST180/580R13 Radial Trailer Tire in a load range D, mounted on this 13-inch series AM08 black aluminum trailer wheel.
