No more waiting on the tire shop or dealing with mounting fees. This Kenda Karrier KR53 ST235/75R16 radial tire comes already mounted on a 16" silver dual steel wheel, aired to proper pressure, and ready to bolt on. It’s built for quick setup so you can get rolling without the extra steps.
When you’re hauling heavy cargo, you need gear that won’t flinch under weight. This Load Range E tire supports up to 3,100 lbs when used in dual-wheel positions or 3,250 lbs when used as a single wheel. Reinforced radial construction gives it the stability and durability needed for bigger loads over long distances.
Highway runs stay smoother with the KR53 tread pattern that keeps the trailer tracking straight and steady. Its radial build helps cut down on heat buildup and promotes even wear, so you get consistent grip and a longer-lasting ride even when the miles pile up.
The dual steel wheel is finished in silver for added protection against rust and wear. That durable coating helps resist corrosion from road grime or moisture, keeping it looking clean and performing strong season after season.
Kenda stands behind this setup with a 1-year worry-free tire guarantee that covers replacement under normal use, plus a limited 2-year warranty on the wheel. It’s assurance that your investment is protected from day one.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Kenda Karrier KR53. It's an ST 235/80R16 radial trailer tire combo with a 16-inch dual steel silver wheel featuring an eight on six and a half inch lug pattern. Now, this is a trailer-ready wheel andtire combo. It's been pre-mounted on that 16-inch silver dual steel wheel with again, that eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. And the pilot hole diameter here is 4.9 inches in case you need a center cap or something.
This is a load range E, so it supports up to 3,100 pounds at 85 PSI used in the dual wheel configuration. As you can see, the nice KR53 tread delivers stable tracking and road grip, and it's gonna run cooler and last longer as far as performance. That radio construction reduces heat buildup and promotes even wear. Now like I mentioned before, this is a dual setup, so this does have a negative half inch offset for proper spacing used in tandem uses, and it's a load range E or a 10 ply tire. And this big heavy-duty wheel and combo will be great for gooseneck utility and dually trailer setups, and you can be confident it's gonna work, again, with a maximum load rating of 3,100 pounds at 85 PSI in a dual setup.
Folks, that will wrap up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
