For long stretches on the highway or cross-country towing, this setup delivers strength and confidence. The Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 radial tire carries a load range D rating with a ply rating of 8 and a maximum load of 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. With a speed rating M of 81 mph and compliance with Department of Transportation specifications, it’s built to handle heat and distance without breaking a sweat.
Corrosion is no match for the modular Dexstar steel wheel. It’s 15" in diameter, 6" wide, and finished with an e-coat primer and white powder coat that resists rust year after year. The 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and 0 offset make it a straightforward match for common trailer hubs, while its wheel capacity of 2,830 lbs keeps you well within safe limits under load.
The radial design keeps things stable at speed and under weight. Its double steel belts and full nylon plies work together for longer tread life and reduced rolling resistance. Because the cords run at a 90-degree angle to travel, the tire flexes evenly, stays cooler, and tracks straight—ideal for high-mileage towing where heat buildup can be a real concern.
Skip the extra mounting step. This tire comes already mounted on its wheel and aired up to proper pressure, so it’s ready to bolt on and go. That means no shop fees or downtime—just a quick install and back on the road with balanced, highway-ready performance.
Peace of mind comes standard. If the tire is damaged in any way within the first 12 months, it will be replaced at no charge under Kenda’s worry-free guarantee. The tire also includes a 5-year warranty, paired with a limited 1-year warranty on the wheel for lasting protection.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The trailer is actually 40+ years old. For me, it was two month total rebuild. The Kendra Karrier tires and wheels as well as other etrailer products I used in the rebuild, are looking and performing great.
