Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Aluminum AM06 Series Black Machined Trailer Wheel. Now, this lightweight aluminum trailer wheel is going to resist rust and features a black gloss finish with machined spokes, adding just enough contrast to stand out without being over the top. Now, if you want more color down the road, that's not gonna be an issue, because this wheel is ready for snap-in red or blue inserts. So, you have a red insert here and a blue insert here. And so, what we have here are bolts here, and you're going to use the included theft-deterrent tool to loosen and remove those bolts, and then this is going to slide in just like that, and then you'll just replace the hardware here.

The inserts actually come with hardware of their own, and so that's kinda giving you an idea of what this is going to look like with the inserts. So, you can pick up the wheel with either the red inserts or the blue inserts that are included with the wheel. So, on your screen I'm including our item number, so if you want the wheel with the red inserts, you see the first number there, then if you want the wheel with the blue inserts, you see the second number there. You can just take those numbers and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to those kits, and you can add that to your order instead if you don't want just the black one as we have here, but this is gonna be just for the one without the inserts, but you will be able to add those inserts later on if you want by getting those inserts separately.

Now, this wheel is rated up to 1,900 pounds, and that's gonna be plenty for most small cargo, utility or boat trailers, and this gonna be a solid fit when you wanna carry gear without stressing your wheel or wondering about load limits. The gloss black base gives the wheel a sleek, polished look, and then these machined spokes here add just enough contrast to stand out without being over the top. So, the dimensions of our wheel here, looking at the diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat, it's gonna be 14 inches, and the width is gonna be 5 1/2 inches. Our bolt pattern is five on 4 1/2 inches. The wheel bolt size is a 1/2 an inch by 20, and this does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you would just have to make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches.

Now, in case you don't know about the bolt pattern, the first number in the bolt pattern is obviously gonna be the number of bolt holes, but the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So, to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, as we have here, you simply measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. So, with this aluminum construction, you don't have to deal with rust or chipped paint over time. This is gonna do a great job of holding up to weather, water, and road grime without the need for powder coating, and this is gonna keep the weight down so you're not hauling more than you need to.
