Today we're going to take a look at the 5 1/4" tall rear hanger for 2" wide slipper springs. Now, this rear hanger is designed to work with trailer suspension systems that have the 2" wide slipper springs. This hanger will provide the attachment point for your lead spring. The hanger suspends the spring from the trailer frame by providing a resting place for the slipper under the spring. This hanger is designed for trailers with 3,500 up to 9,000 pound axles. Again, it's designed to fit the 2" wide slipper springs.
Does work with a 5/16 diameter bolt which we do sell separately on our website. When the give the dimension on the heighth of this, when they say 5 1/4" tall, basically that's measuring from the center of that bolt hole to the top of the hanger. If we go center to the bolt hole to the top of the hanger, that'll give you your 5 1/4" tall hanger. Now the overall dimensions I want to give you on this, we're going to measure the overall heighth from the very bottom to the very top of the hanger, that's going to be right at 6" tall. The width on it is going to be right at 2 3/4". The depth on it is going to be 3", and the inside width where the spring would go is going to be right at 2 5/16.
That should do it for the review on the 5 1/4" tall rear hanger for 2" wide slipper springs.
