Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a U-bolt plate for five inch diameter round trailer axles with three inch wide springs. This is used with U-bolts to secure an axle to lee springs, which are mounted to the trailer frame. This unit's made from a durable steel construction that attaches with two 3/4 inch diameter around U-bolts, which are sold separately. They're available at etrailer.com. When it comes to the dimensions of this U-bolt plate, edge to edge going this direction, we're looking at about nine inches. Edge to edge this direction is about six inches.
Top to bottom measures about one inch. Now this is designed to fit round trailer axles with a five inch diameter. We can tell that by taking a measurement from the closest point of one hole to the closest point of the other going straight across. So we can see that that space right there measures about five inches, so that's the five inch diameter axle. And then side to side this way we can see that it works with three inch wide lee springs, again, closest edge of one hole to the closest edge of the other, that's three inches right there.
