When you’re hauling serious weight, the suspension has to be up to the job. This Dexter 3-Leaf Slipper Spring gives your heavy-duty suspension a solid foundation with a spring capacity of 11,250 lbs per side and a 22,500-lb axle rating. It connects directly to the Hutch or Dexter HDSS suspension system to keep your trailer tracking straight and stable under load.
Rough roads and uneven surfaces don’t have to mean a harsh ride. The three-leaf design flexes to absorb bumps and vibration, cutting down on bounce and sway. That flex helps the axle move independently of the frame so the trailer stays level and parts last longer.
A spring that carries heavy loads needs to stay strong over time. This one is built from sturdy steel that stands up to weight and wear. With a 3" width and 7/8" leaf thickness, it’s made for long-term durability in demanding conditions.
This spring is made specifically for heavy-duty suspension setups, matching the geometry and strength of Dexter HDSS and Hutchens 9600-9700 Series systems. At 44-1/8" overall length and 41-1/2" from radius curve to hook (unloaded), it installs right where it’s supposed to for proper axle alignment and reliable performance.
To keep alignment and suspension performance consistent, it’s best to install new springs on both sides. Doing so ensures even flex and prevents mismatch from worn components, keeping your suspension balanced and your ride smooth.
