Maintaining a functioning lighting system for your boat trailer is required by law. Make your life simpler by installing lights that you can trust be to be submerged regularly. The housing and lens of this light are sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light to damage the diode or circuit board. Also, a special urethane potting is used to encapsulate the circuit board, further ensuring protection from moisture and dust.
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light on either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. Rather than buying side marker and clearance lights separately, you can mount this single, PC-rated light at a 45-degree angle on the front corner of your trailer to act as both.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our TecNiq Round Side Marker Light in amber. This is gonna be a 2-1/2" diameter grommet mounted light, and I do wanna point out that there's no grommet included or wiring. You're simply gonna get the light and the light by itself. So if you need that grommet, it's item number TN43TR sold separately. And I just have this lit up with some demo clips that I'm using today for the studio.
Again, none of this is included, it's just the light itself, no grommet. You should already have the connectors on your trailer. If you don't, it's just two simple, straight pushing connectors that it's gonna use. And again, once it's installed, it's gonna light up whenever you hit your signals, whether it's your clearance light or whatnot. And I do wanna shut off the overhead lights so you can get a better look at this in the dark, so you can kind of see how bright it is.
It's a polycarbonate lens. It's automotive grade built, so it's resistant to UVs and impact rated to all safety standards here in the US and Canada. And the housing protects against dust, water intrusion, and they have what's called a TecSeal urethane potting seal. So that basically protects your circuitry inside of the light itself, giving you long-term durability and performance. And of course, LEDs, as we know, are super bright and they're rated for long, long time, in this case, over a hundred thousand hours of LED performance.
So again, folks, two and a half inch diameter, no grommet included, runs on 12 volts. This is the amber TecNiq Round Side Marker. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
