You can also wirelessly play all your favorite songs on your smartphone with the built-in speaker on the included controller. And when you no longer need the light, press the on/off buttons.

If you don't want another app cluttering up your phone, you can also use the wireless IR remote control to change the light's functions. It'll also let the whole family change the light strip's settings without having to constantly ask you for your phone. The remote is an IR-style remote, so you'll need to make sure you point it at the controller before clicking any buttons.
