  • Fulton F2 Weld Plate Material on Swing-Up Jack # F1413200334
The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack w/ Pivoting Footplate - 5" Frame, Weld On # F1413200334 has a cast steel mounting plate. The rounded part of the jack is aluminum but other components are steel like the swivel housing according to my contact at Fulton. If you want to avoid welding, you can use # F1413040134 which will fit 3x3 and 3x4 inch tongues. The 4 and 5 inch frames require # F1413140334.

  • Recommended Fulton Trailer Jacks With Footplate
We sure do have what you are looking for. We offer 4 Fulton Swing-Up Jacks with pivoting footplates. The difference is either in the mounting preference or the size of the trailer frame. For a weld-on installation, I recommend part # F1413200334. This will fit up to 5 inch frames, has 2,000 lbs static capacity, and features a 7 inch diameter footplate. We also have a bolt-on jack that will work with either 4 or 5 inch frames, and has all the same features. That is part # F1413230134....

  • Clearance Of Jack Footplate From Trailer
I pulled one of the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack w/ Pivoting Footplate, part # F1413200334 from our warehouse and took a couple of measurements. I have attached a photo with the dimensions you were concerned with. The distance from the mounting surface the plate attaches to is approximately 2-1/8 inches from the leg of the jack. The footplate extends approximately 2 inches beyond the flat surface of the leg of the jack. There would be clearance for you when you swing the jack up parallel on...

  • Is the Mounting Pattern on the 1,600 and 2,000 Pound Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jacks the Same
Yes, the Fulton F2 Swing-Up trailer jack (2,000 pound) # F1413200334 will have the same 3.44 inches by 4.44 inches center to center bolt hole measurements as the Fulton F2 Swing-Up trailer jack (1,600 pound) # F1413130334. I also called our representative at Fulton to confirm. We also have a bolt-on jack that will work with either 4 or 5 inch frames, and has all the same features. That is # F1413230134. I included a short video review and helpful article for you too.

  • Can the Weld-On Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack be Installed on a 6 Inch Trailer Frame
Actually, you could weld the Fulton trailer jack # F1413200334 to a 6 inch frame if you wanted. Fulton does list the weld-on jacks as fitting a certain frame size but if the frame is a little larger it would not be an issue. As long as there is enough surface area for a proper weld you can use this jack.

  • Can Foot Plate of Fulton F1413200334 F2 Trailer Jack Be Replaced with Caster Wheel
The foot plate of the Fulton # F1413200334 F2 Trailer Jack isn't removable. For a similar jack with a caster wheel, you'd want to go with # F1413050334. Because the caster wheel limits the weight capacity, the # F1413050334 jack has a 1600 lb capacity, versus the 2000 lb capacity of the # F1413200334 jack you'd looked at. I've linked you to a product description video for the # F1413050334 jack with the caster wheel.

  • Sidewind Jack Recommendations for Supporting Equipment Hauled on a Trailer
It sounds like you are going to have to do a custom installation. I would recommend the Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate, # PS1400800383, along with a male pipe mount, # BD015273, to weld to the jack in the correct position, and a female pipe mount, # BD015271, to weld to your piece of equipment. This would allow you to custom fit the jack to your equipment. Using a standard jack with mounting plate already welded to it is not going to allow the adjustability you need. Cutting jacks...
