Today we're looking at the Titan 10 inch hydraulic brake assembly, part number t4445300. This is the right hand side and the way we tell this is by looking at the shoe lining. The leading shoe will be smaller than the rear shoe. This particular assembly is a uni servo which means it has one wheel cylinder and one piston that will push out against the brake shoe creating a wedge effect in our hub drum assembly. To measure our assembly, to get our width, we see that its 10 inches across the linings. The shoe thickness is 2 1/4.
This setup is for a 10 inch by 2 1/4 inch, hub drum assembly. It installs on a 4 bolt flange and we will go through 4 studs to mount to your axle. On initial setup, you will need to use the star wheel adjuster to push the linings out against the drum to create a nice even braking surface. As the shoe linings wear down, you will also need to adjust the star wheel which can be done through the adjustment port here on the backing plate. This assembly comes with a one year warranty and a 2 year corrosion warranty.
