Love this coupler! Did an EOH conversion on a boat Trailer and this is so much cleaner of an install than a welded surge coupler. Low cost, heavy duty and easy engagement/disengagement.
Easy to install and easy to use!
Product is excellent...Packaging not so good. There was zero effort made to properly wrap and pad the coupler in the fairly flimsy box...No damage was sustained, however the heavy coupler bounced around inside causing holes and tears in the side of the box...Very unprofessional and careless. Any more "handling" during shipping could well have had the coupler ripping through the box and causing damage. Please instruct your shipping dept. to take more care and effort.

Installed this on my Legend 7.5 x 23 trailer. Incredible product. I have had this coupler on each of my snowmobile trailers. This is rated twice as strong as the factory coupler. I also deeply value how this couplers retainer locks down under the ball. I am a huge fan. To install I recommend Grade 8 bolts inverted for the top two holes and then full-through bolts for the three side wholes.
I am staggered by the perfect quality of the coupler I purchased. The thick steel rings like a bell, the holes match my boat trailer and the latch is strong.
Was moving and had to rapidly change tongue on trailer from pintle hook to 2-5/16 .Found this on etrailer installed towed my tractors and heavy garage items from Ohio to Missouri.Not corroded from road salt still like new. Beeped my horn when I passed Wentzvile Mo.
Nice heavy duty cast coupler welded to galvanized 3" channel with 3 bolt holes. Considering all the options this seemed to be the best bang for the buck. I actually prefer the auto spring lock to the old style grenade pin latch thats been around forever. This seems like it will lock better and should be more secure than the old style. I guess time will tell but so far its even better than I had hopped for.
This product worked great. I am 70 years old and had trouble hooking up boat, and this solved the problem. Just back up and let it down hooks up by itself. Just put pin in plug wires and go.

Nice heavy duty just right for my boat trailer. I did have to drill new holes thru the trailer. The finish is somewhat rough but it’s not made for looks. I have been using it for a few weeks now and so far I am satisfied with it.
Heavy duty , just what the Dr. ordered !!!
It is only 3 bolts not five. If you drill from top it would hit the cross bolts unless you have a different way of drilling. If three bolts are ok let me know. Thanks
Even after a year people will see this hitch are really impressed with it they all say they like it I’m very proud of it worked very well easy to hook up easy to unhook and no slack in a couple of very good product I would buy another
